Temperature Rise Calculations :

Solution 1, SCB 24 IN 1 OUT (Drawing No. G 3787 & G 3788), FRP Enclosure:

Watt Loss due to fuses of 15 Amps: 49 X 1.3 = Approx. 63.7 Watts

Watt Loss due to 400 Amps DC Switch = Approx. 25 Watt

Watt loss due to Copper Bus bars, and other components = Approx. 15 Watt

Total watt loss = 63.7 + 25 + 15= 103.7 Watt

Surface Area of Enclosures = 22.8 sq. feet

Temp. Rise = Total Watt Loss/Surface area of the enclosure = 103.7 / 22.8 = 4.5 = Approx. 8-10 Degree
Celcius.
