The ‘beat treatment of the samples and the mechanical properties to be obtained trom tests on them shall be agreed between the purchaser and the manufacturer at the time of enquiry and order. Option 7: Additional mechanical tests on sempies, which have undergone @ diffrent or editional heat treatment, shall be caried out. Option 8: Impact test shall be carried out st room temperature (sae Tables & and 7). The location of tho test places, either irom the weld or opposite tothe weld, shal be agreed at the time of enquiry and order. Option (500 Tabla 6 footnote) 832. Al dressed areas shall blend smoothly into the contour ofthe tube. 85.1.4 Surface imperfections which encroach on the specified minimum wall thickness shall be considered sefects and tubes containing these shall be deemed not to conform to this Part of EN 10217. 8.5.15 Repairs to the weld are permitted only by agreement with the purchaser.
