The Intern – Movie activity

Pre-task: Ask students some questions about retirement. For example: Do you have any plans
for your retirement? Tell them what you plan is and explain that people have many different
plans, such as travelling the world, moving to the beach or the highlands, starting a new
business or Just having a great time with their families.

After watching: Ask students what their grandparents do of their lives nowadays. And what do
people they know do when they retire? Ask them if they think of doing na internship or
volunteer work when they become elderly.

Deadpool – Movie activity

Pre-task: What is you favorite action movie character? Give 10 min to students to prepare a
presentation about their favorite superhero. They should introduce the superhero, explain
his/her super powers, and tell the group the reasons why he/she is his/her favorite superhero.

After the presentations, ask students if the have seen the Deadpool movie, if they like the
Deadpool and what they think about him.

After watching: Ask students: how many bullets did deadpool have? How many people did he
kill? Did he look relaxed? Is Deadpool a superhero? Would you like to have a superhero like
him in your city? How is Deadpool’s mood? Is he serious/funny?
