PRE-AWARD CONTRACTUAL REVIEW-AUSTRALIAN HIGH COMMISSION PROJECT OF CONSTRUCTION OF

RAIN HARVESTING UNDERGROUND TANKS

Project Name: Construction of Two Nos. Underground RCC Rain Harvesting Tanks.
Project Location: Australian High Commission, Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad.
Contract Type: Lump sum Type. The Contract is FIDIC Short form (1999) based.
Employer: Jones Lang LaSalle Services (Private) Limited

1) Bid Security: No amount has been mentioned.

2) Performance Security: 10% of Contract Price in the form of Insurance or Bank Guarantee
[Appendix to PCC & Email of Response to Queries].

3) Mobilization Advance: 20% of the Contract Price shall be paid by the Employer against
submission of Bank Guarantee [Response to Queries].

4) Time for Completion: 150 Calendar Days.

5) Liquidated Damages: 0.1% per day up to maximum of 10% [Appendix to PCC].

6) Defect Liability Period: 365 days [Appendix to PCC].

7) Retention Money: 5% of IPC [Appendix to PCC].

10) Extension Of Time For Completion: Mechanism available under the Contract.

11) Variation: Mechanism is available under GCC Clause 10.2 for additional works only which
are not covered under Drawings, Specifications and Bill of Quantities [Appendix to PCC].

12) Time for Payment: Within 28 days.

13) Escalation: Not mentioned in the Contract.

14) Arbitration: Mechanism available under Clause 15.3. Arbitration under Rules of England
&Wales shall be applicable with seat of Arbitration in Pakistan [Email of Response to
