Today your day involves a leisurely drive to the famed Lake City of Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara proceed to
the Atithi Resort. We request participants to arrive at Atithi hotel latest by 5:00PM
After an early breakfast we convene at the Atithi Resort Parking lot to begin the day’s journey. Daily brief on
today’s journey will be provided with hot tea/coffee.
The first half of the day’s journey is on fairly well maintained tarmac roads till Beni where the off road track begins;
nevertheless its important to note the roads are narrow and caution should be maintained at all times. This is a
scenic drive transitioning into subtropical vegetation of Banyan trees and poinsettias.
Lunch will be served roughly half way at the Famed Tato Pani Hot Springs.
Participants receive their first glimpses of the mighty Himalayas from here (weather permitting). Enjoy hot Lunch
prior to commencing onwards to Jomsom. The off road trail follows the Ghandaki river through a narrow gorge to
cross a bridge near a spectacular waterfall – RupseChhara (Acclaimed as the 2nd largest waterfall in South Asia.
As the trail continues, we enter the Himalayan rain shadow and notice another vegetation transition to coniferous
forests on our way to Kalopani (2500m.). Weather permitting; from here we enjoy spectacular 360 degree views
of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna high above.
Jomsom: also known as Dzongsam or New Fort, is a town located at an altitude of 2800m in Mustang District, Nepal. It extends over both the
banks of the Kali Gandaki River. Along the banks of Kali Gandaki River there are rocks holy to the Hindus. The soaring peaks of Dhaulagiri
and Nilgiri form a backdrop. As the district headquarters, it is primarily an administrative and commercial center with government officials and
merchants rubbing shoulders with the local residents of the region, known as Thakalis. A company of the Nepalese Army is stationed here.
Nearby is Jomsom Airport from where there are regular flights.

Day 3: Jomsom – Muktinath – Kalopani
Duration: 4-5 Hours Driving

Surface Conditions: Narrow off-road/single tracks
Participants will convene at the designated meeting point at 7:30AM to begin the day’s journey. Daily brief on
today’s program will be provided with hot tea/coffee.
Participants will leave jomsom to visit Muktinath which is known as one of the sacred dhams of Hindu Religion. It
is believed that all miseries and sorrows are releved once a person visits the temple. Both the Buddhist and
Hindus hold the temple in high esteem . People can also enjoy bathing in 108 Dhara where there is a belief that
all sins will be forgiven once taken bath in 108 dhara.
Upon the visit of Muktinath , participants will drive all the way back to kalopani where lunch will be served and
leisure day will be provided

Lunch will be served at the Tato Pani Hot Springs. Enjoy a dip at hot spring.Continue towards Pokhara. Check in
to the Atithi Resort. Rest of the day at leisure.
Farewell Cocktail Snacks and Dinner at the Atithi Resort. Participants can continue to enjoy the night at
Lakeside.
