On January 23rd and 24th , 2020 Inquisitive and Learning Resource Centre(Booksleuths)at
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management , Hyderabad organised “Book exhibition ”, at
Multipurpose Hall, SIBM, Hyderabad. This was the first after merger of two clubs
Inquisitive and Learning Resource Centre(LRC).

The event saw over 200 students from both 2018-20 and 2019-21 batches of MBA program
as well as students of Symbiosis Law school exploring their interests and cherishing their
memories with various books kept there. The books were mainly related to academics
including all specializations Finance, Operations, Human Resource and Marketing with
practical Havard Business study reviews. Apart from this there were novels, fiction , non-
fiction books of famous authors.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. K P Venugopala Rao(Deputy Director, SIBM Hyderabad)
other faculty members also accompanied him. In his speech, Dr Venugopala Rao,
appreciated all the members of Inquisitive and LRC for their combined effort.

Our faculty members Dr Saradhi Kumar Goenela,Dr Taunmoy De, Dr Rajkumar pillai were
present at the event to extend their support for club’s work .After the inauguration there was
reading of ‘Best of Inquilab’-a collection of best articles of Inquilab magazine of club
Inquisitive. Club member Ms Sharvani Shastri recited her poem from the magazine.

The event saw good turnout of students as well as faculty members. Faculty members from
law school were also present for 2 day exhibition. On day one, majority of books were
related to academics and the timing of exhibition was from 1:30pm to 5 pm .

On day two some new books arrived which were fictions, novels etc. On this day the book
exhibition was from 9 :00am to 5:00pm

The students as well as faculty members found the book collection useful and beneficial.
Most of the faculty members recommended the same for students.

On both of those days, students were asked to recommend useful books from the exhibition
for the library.
