 Jaze Access Manager: Overview
Jaze Access Manager enables Internet Service
Providers and managed Wi-Fi hotspot providers to
manage all the functional components of their business
including onboarding, AAA services, subscribers, plans,
billing, support and advertising from a central platform.
The solution is designed to give customers granular
options to define workflows for getting subscribers
online, enforcing policies and keeping track of usage.
Jaze Access Manager helps managing all segments of
hotspot services including advertising, hotspot specific
content delivery and powerful APIs to integrate with
other systems for validation and custom workflows.
Jaze Access Manager can be deployed at the central
NOC to manage one or multiple sites with Wireless
Controllers and access points enabling centralized
management of services across the infrastructure.
Jaze Access Manager is designed to be deployed with
redundancy in order to provide high availability and
failover with active-active redundancy. The solution can
be integrated with a wide range of controller managed
and wireless APs from multiple leading vendors to
provide a truly vendor agnostic solution.

Functional Components
Jaze Access Manager comprises of mulitple
components to handle each function of the hotspot
service. Captive Portal, AAA and advertising form
three core components which integrate at multiple
integration points to other components in the system.
Jaze Access Manager also features a powerful API
for complete control over automating business
functions. Every functionality on the system can be
triggered through the API using which the required
actions can be triggered.
The system is designed to be resilient at all tiers and
can be deployed on physical or virtual infrastructure.
AAA Server
AAA services form a core part of Jaze Access
Manager with support for both RADIUS along
with vendor attributes and CoA support.
The RADIUS engine are designed to run at scales
of multiple millions of subscribers on the network
across single or multiple PoPs with N + 1 redundancy
design at all tiers.
Jaze Access Manager ensures high availability and
SLA for managing AAA workloads thus ensuring
service continuity at all times.

 Deployment Modes
Jaze Access Manager is designed to deployed from the
NOC and integrated with wireless controllers, routers
and firewalls. The solution can be deployed with
redundancy at the application level to ensure high
availability. The application can be deployed on
physical or virtual infrastructure across distributed
hardware components.
It also allows for seamless interoperability between
existing applications with the ability to integrate using
the powerful API.
Solution Partners
Jaze Access Manager can be integrated with wireless
controllers from leading infrastructure providers.
Wireless Controllers running from Cisco, HP, Aruba,
Ruckus, Motorola, Cambium, Extreme, etc can be
readily configured to run AAA services from Jaze ISP
Manager. The solution also integrates with service
provider routers from Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik and
Huawei for delivering hotspot services.
It also supports multiple authentication methods
including PAP, CHAP and MSCHAPv2. The solution
support portal based authentication and 802.1X to
allow service providers to deliver differnet services on
the same network.
Jaze Access Manager can be deployed on-premise or
on public or private cloud infrastructure allowing
flexibility in designing the solution. Jaze ISP Manager
can run on a variety of leading virtualization platforms
thereby ensuring better resource utilization and
reduced infrastructure costs.
Multiple authentication methods can be configured on
these platforms to allow service providers to offer
differentiated services to subscribers including PPPoE,
IPoE and ISG. Jaze Access Manager is vendor
agnostic and supports integration with multi-vendor
equipment in a single deployement thus enabling
smooth interoperability and abstraction of network layer
to service providers.
