6.1 STORAGE
6.4.4 Material shall be stored ina dry pace at all the time. tN
6.1.2 The materials shall be stacked itemized for easy identification
6.1.3. Allitem received are
petted prior to storage as per attached goods receipt
inspection checklist.
6.14 All components / materials received at site shall be inspected and ensured against
approved material submittal, /
6.15 Any discrepancies, damages etc, shall be notified immediately for further action/
6.1.6 Static UPS panels shall be carefully unloaded from the vehicle using Fork lift nd
‘moved to suitable place for storage, as per manufacturer recommendation,
6.1.7 _ Static UPS panels shall be stored in a covered place separately as per manufacturer
recommended ambient condition.
6.1.8 Factory packing of a UPS system shall only be removed at the installation spot
to avoid damages. /

For floor mounted panels, the exact location of the panel and fixing holes to be
marked on the concrete plinth provided by others for the installation.
Remove the packing and ensure that the panel is free from transportation damages

marked based on approved shop drawings keeping panel in place and willbe fixed in |

After installation UPS panel shall be properly cleaned and protected to prevent dust

8.1 All safety precaution procedures shall be followed as per BIAL Safety Requirements
and Standards.
Work shall carried out as per approved Safety procedures and risk assessment~
9.0 TESTING AND COMMISSIONING.
‘A. INSULATION RESISTANCE TEST
The insulation resistance shall be measured by applying 500-volt megger with all fuses in
places, circuit breaker and all switches closed.
The insulation resistance in mega-chms of an installation, measured shall not be less than SO
mega-ohms divided by the number of points on the circuit.
The insulation resistance shall be measured between

B. COMPLETION CERTIFICATES
All the above tests shall be carried out in presence of Employer and the results shall be
recorded In prescribed forms. Any default during the testing shall be immediately rectified
and that section of the installation shall be re tested,

Note: that the adjustment of float and equalize should be
independent of each other.

regulation at 0%, 50% & 100% of full load.

Measure AC input and DC output Voltages and currents & calculate
efficiency at 50% and 100% of rated output current.

Check the locking arrangement of handles and alignment of panel
