EVENT RULE SHEET

On Stage Events

Ware Wars [Ad-zap] Time: 10:00-11:30 am

.

● One team per department / per shift.

● 6-8 members per team.
● No props should be used.
● Ads should be product specific and not generic concepts.
● No audio clips to be used.
● Product will be given on the spot.
● Time 2 mins (preparation) and 5 mins (presentation).
● Vulgarity of any sort will lead to immediate disqualification.
● Judges decision will be final.

Corpo Sapiens [Business Quiz] Time: 10:00-11:30 am

● One team per department / per shift.

● Three participants per team.
● Three rounds will be conducted.
▪ Preliminary round
▪ First round
▪ Final round
● Questions may include audio visuals, company logos, brand ambassadors, etc.
● Judges decision will be final

Sir Sell-A-Lot [Business Plan] Time: 11:30 – 1:00pm

One team per department / per shift.

● Three participants per team.

● Participants should showcase innovative products / services with wholesome business
strategies.
● 5 mins for on-stage presentation.
● Judges will ask questions based on the presentation made and technical knowhow.
● Participants have to send in their presentations for scrutiny on or before 1st February
2020
● Judges decision will be final

Off Stage Events

Concoction [Product Innovation] Time: 11:30 – 1:00pm

● One team per department / per shift.

● Three participants per team.
● Participants have to create a new product from given sets of products.
● Time 1 min (preparation) and 3 mins (presentation).
● The team has to present their product innovation convincing the judges in the most
attractive and creative way with a marketing strategy.
● Judges decision will be final.

Imprint [Logo Designing] Time: 11:30 – 1:00pm

● One team per department / per shift.

● Two participants per team.
● Duration given is 60 mins.
● Team will be given on the spot topic.
● Stationery should be brought by participants.
● Judges decision will be final.

Wrap Up [Product Packaging] Time: 10:00-11:30 am

● One team per department / per shift.

● Three participants per team.
● Materials should be brought by participants.
● Duration given is 60 mins.
● Product concept will be given on the spot.
● Team must provide a brief explanation of the product.
● Judges decision will be final.

Numero Uno [Best Manager] Time: 10:00-11:30 am

● Individual event.
● One participant per department per college / shift.
● Three rounds – Aptitude round, group discussion and final interview.
● Participants must bring their updated resume.
● Participants must dress formally.
● Judges decision will be final.

Impromptu Court [Mock Court] Time: 11:30 – 1:00pm

● Only team entries are allowed

● A team shall consist of 2 participants
 ● A case will be presented to the participants
● Participants will have a maximum of 10 minutes to present their
case.
● Participants are to act as Lawyers and tackle the case in the best
way possible.
● Judges decision will be final.

Rag Bag [Potpourri] Time: 11:30 – 1:00pm

● 3 Members per team

● Round 1 – Pictionary - 2 min
● Round 2 – Dumb charades – 2 min
● No lip movements
● No props allowed
● Direct hints not allowed.
● Judges decision will be final.

Online Event – Ad Selfie

● Individual event
● Any number of participants per department per college
● The Individual should post a picture of him/herself with a product (as a brand
ambassador for the product) on 4th February 2020 morning (pictures previously
posted will be disqualified)
● They should tag the Excelsus – Zenith page on Facebook in their picture
● 10 best pictures will be selected
● The picture with most number of likes at 6 pm on 4th February 2020 will be
adjudged “Best Ad Selfie”
● Ad Selfie participants should register at the registration desk on the day of event
(5th February 2020) in order to qualify for prize. In absentia receipt of prize for this
event is not allowed.
● Judges decision will be final.
General Rules and Regulations

● All participants should carry their ID cards

● Participants should register at the registration counter with their ID cards as well as a
bonafide certificate from their college
● Registration will be closed at 9:00 a.m.
● Usage of mobile phones is not allowed within the campus
● Participants are requested to dress in presentable attire.
● Judges decision is final in all events. Disputes will not be entertained.
● If number of participating teams for any event are large in number, preliminary round
may be conducted for the event.
● Registrations are to be sent to excelsuspatrician@gmail.com on or before 1st
February 2020.
