Generally people consider both terms similar to each other but their is a huge
difference between sales and marketing.

The difference between sales and marketing, the dissimilarity between the two
is very less. And many people get confused between the two. Earlier people used
to think there is no difference between sales and marketing. In this point in
time, you must have heard about the terms ”Sales” And ”Marketing” many
times. In Marketing, marketers are more focused on the customer’s needs and
they come up with solutions to help them. However, In the case of selling, the

People generally get confused between sales and marketing they just combines
these two completely different process.

Sales means allowing someone to possess your offered goods or service in

exchange of money or any other benefits. The selling of any product or service

If we break it down to the basic definition, marketing is everything we do to

reach, tell a story, and persuade prospects.

The sales process is everything we do to educate, inform, close the sale, and get a

In layman's words, Sales is to sell inventory of your company and get revenue,
and marketing would be making strategies and setting up an execution plan for
sales to market/sell that inventory. Both go hand in hand.

Marketing makes noise so that one is interested, and at the same time sales
approaches you so that you can buy.
