A Laundry Staff

you have a strong work ethic and don’t mind working long hours to satisfy
our customers, you should absolutely apply for our open position as a
presser for TedLor Laundry and Dry-cleaning Services. We believe in
our candidates and provide paid on-the-job training during the first
week, so you’ll know the ins and outs of the pressing position. You’ll have
the opportunity to work with varied fabrics and clothing styles, such as
shirts, pants, gowns and anything else that might be dropped off. Take

Job Responsibilities

 Operate Washing machines, which include both hydraulic and

steam devices, to remove wrinkles from pants, shirts, coats, gowns
and a variety of other articles to shape them appropriately
 Remove a finished article of clothing from the Washing machine
and hang properly to allow article to cool and retain its shape
 Operate Steam Iron, to give the best finish to fabrics
 Package finished coats and dresses, and tag according to company
guidelines so that they are ready for customer pick up
 Use hand iron to finish off certain pieces that need a final touch
to remove any discrepancies in the fabric
 Position finished materials on the overhead system and retrieve
items when a customer comes to pick up something
 Clean washing machines and industrial irons at the end of every
shift, using company-provided lubricants and cleaning solutions to
ensure they are ready for the next day
  Apply finishing touches to certain pieces of clothing depending on
the material, such as placing velvet items under the hot head press
 Smooth out clothes by moistening them with a light application of
water before pressing
 attend professionally and polite to customers at all times

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

 Strong attention to detail

 Great work ethic
 Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time
 Punctual
 Willingness to learn
 Fluent in English and Hausa
 Knowledgeable about Use of Laundry Machines will be an added
advantage
 Knowledgeable about Use of Steam Iron

Salary

 10k
 Note: You are entitled to an attractive bonus package upon good
performance.
