BAZI 60 PILLARS – ARMIES OF GODS

YES, its gonna take forever to finish writing all the 60 pillars. At this point i have done 24 out of the 60 pillars.
Since we are in the world of instant gratification, we will deploy some express reading method for 60 pillars as
well.
The 60 pillars only come in 5 flavor as in anything in metaphysics, its possible to group them in accordance to
their similarities. The 5 different grouping with 12 pillars in each are as following …

Captain America / Black Widow – Heaven and Earth in Harmony

These are basically good buddy pillars, goody 2 shoes. They have pure Qi where heaven and earth is in unison.
They have less hidden agenda in their life and can easily do and achieve things. Their life is much more simpler
and often with less attachment and consideration. Considering relationship is much more placid and they want to
be in the safe zone. Progressing in a permanent and serious relationship is rather hard with them since they treat
people as nice as friends in normal circumstances. You will not feel special being the special one. They are also
rather bad with money management related issue as their prime motive is to keep a cordial environment for
themselves, a little money spend is a good sacrifice to them. If you want strong and supportive friends … they
are the prime candidate.

Falcon / Black Panther – Heaven producing Earth

There is the ultimate chillax class pillars. They are the smart, style and compose type. They do not get involve
unless necessary, and hence stress free lifestyle. They are adapted to surround themselves with abundance
resource, may it be necessary knowledge or helper. They are often been accuse of being aloft and lazy but far
from the truth is that they have been simply observing the situation and learning. Once they have decided to
sprung into action, however thing can get reckless and messy. Relationship wise, they are the most interesting of
the lot, more than willing to explore new feeling. Its easy to fall in love but hard to stay in love. They want fresh

thing, they cannot stand the unchanged. Its hard for one to keep up. Money management need extra care since
they pursue the castle in the sky, they spend load of time “crafting” and may have opportunity cost to it. This

This is the get thing done pillar, yes we call them the blunt tools. They are not into vision or big picture, just tell
them where to shoot. This does not means that they are any less intelligent, its just that they understand time
spend standing around is worth much less than time spend doing. The quicker you start doing something means
you have more time circling back if the necessary arises. Time is the only commodity you cannot recycle,
anything else can be fix eventually. They are great with relationship (the Male), since they make first move and
keep moving until they succeed. You can often see them making quick and sometimes mindless advancement on
lady. They you will also see them improving toward your liking and style … they try ! In term of money, its the
most favorable pillar. Work like a horse and seems to know no tired or frustration. Your tools box cannot go
wrong with a hammer in it.

Winter Soldier / Vision – Earth producing Heaven

These is the believers of our society. They leave most of their life to faith and chances. These are the most
diligent people around, preparing their life and waiting … till when i often do not know. There is a higher
calling in their life and they are often the custodian of knowledge and historical event. You want information,
you hunt them down. They happen to make good partner in relationship since they are mostly without own need
and agenda. They are more than willing to support and submit to their partner need and wants. At times may
create stress as the partner might think they are with a mindless zombie. Don’t get it wrong, these people are
among the smartest and most intelligent pillar. Their money principle is no money is good money. Since they
answer to higher calling in life, they are rather detach to the idea of an exchange medium, they rather value

wisdom. Noble cause, but then the food stall owner cannot take your knowledge for the bowl of noodle that you
just eat.

Wanda / Ironman – Earth counter Heaven

The world is against them and its their duty to change it … go against the grain !! These are the revolutionary to
be or the cannot folder to be wasted. They see adversity as calling and defeat as a chance to redeploy. Success is
often within their grasp, if only they would have step back and think a little and strategized a little. Relationship
is often haphazard, spread the money on many and it will surely hit something. Its is often more successful for
the female, somehow the male species find wild and approachable female to be more appealing. Money is like a
casino to them, making large bet in hope of a big payoff. It can be seen as great boldness but they can lose
everything in a single misstep. Their chances of going big is the highest among all the pillars due to their willing
nature to take the plunge (leap of faith).

BAZI 60 PILLARS – HEAVENLY GODS, VISITING US !!

60 Pillars is all the possible combination of Heaven Stems and Earthly Branches can possibly form. They are
actually the revolution of Planet Jupiter over the sun, so it take 60 earth years for Saturn to make a full spin over
the sun. Ancient people called Jupiter as Grand Duke and hence has attache actual generals persona to each 60
of them. BaZi do not per-say used the grand duke in their reading but your pillar does made out of one of these
60 pillars. People has found way to summarized the different characteristic of the 60 pillars and actually make
reading a little convenience. You can now actually look at a pillar and give out some fairly valid reading, but
provided your brain can remember the 60 different persona and how they react when fall into different pillar
(Year, Month, Day, Hour)

Following are the 60 pairs it begin with Jia Zi and end with Gui Chou. We would usually split them into the 6
army of Jia. Each row downward is the representation of the King (Jia) and his subject. So anyone with a pillar
that is in the same group will naturally work better together. This is actually a method used to find compatibility.
If you are looking for a working partner and let say your month pillar (Work/Business) is Ji Hai and your partner
happen to be Ren Yin, then both of you are in the same group and hence can work together.

Recently (2015), this 60 pillars method is gaining popularity over the conventional 10 gods method of reading
since it give instant gratification. One look and you get the reading almost amazingly done. They have also

keep an eye on all that pass through them. They hold much treasure and would do much to keep it a secret from
the public. Jia Chen is one such people with hidden potential obscure from public view. Jia in Chinese means
Armor and hence Gamera the giant turtle while Chen is a dense forest … so Gamera hiding in forest. (grew up
watching too much Japanese Anime)

Jia is the proud and noble wood. They stood tall and firm on their ground and budging is not their option. They
usually stay humble and quiet just to observe their surrounding. Giving is what they do best as tree has no
ability to say no to other that seek its help. They provide shade, fruits, oxygen (if they give WiFi then they won’t
be cut down) and even sacrifice to become firewood. Its an element that on its own quite easy to exploit.

Jia here is seated on Chen (Dragon) which carry the main Qi of Wu earth (Indirect Wealth) and sub Qi of Yi
wood (Rob Wealth) and Gui water (Direct Resource). IW provide them with the ability to spot future
opportunity and being a tall tree they can virtually see your potential from miles away. Combine this with the
natural ability of RW to be able to lead (used) people, their main weapon of defense is spotting looming cloud of
doom from afar and dispatch their minions to deal with it. The resource star give them the ability to amass a
large database of potential “helper” in their master plan.

Chen combine with You (Rooster) that has the Xin metal (Direct Officer) element. This is the element of
husband star. The female Jia Chen is well suited for marriage as they have the quality of the traditional strategic
wife. They keep to themselves and only act via proxy and never launch a direct attack toward their husband.
Chen clash with Xu (Dog) that carry the energy of Wu earth (Indirect Wealth), Ding fire (Hurting Officer) and
Xin metal (Direct Officer). Here you can see the husband star is push away along with the HO star. The female
Jia Chen will seldom place much importance in their husband present, what they actually want from them may
not be companionship but other much useful trait.

Overall they are rather strategic player in society. Being humble and unthreatening is their main weapon by
directing danger and trouble away from them. on one hand they are advert helper but at the same time they will
keep a record of your favor and draw on it when necessary. Love is not such a big theme for them as long as you
have your used in the relationship.

甲午 JIA WU, WOOD CAMP; FIRE BRING BRILLIANCE

Merry Christmas 2016. I was looking for a pillar to represent this holiday, guess Jia Wu would be appropriate. A
Jia (Tree) decorated by light (Ding). In the olden day, the tree would have to be burn (strike by lightning
maybe). Hope that everyone have a joyous celebration, may the benevolent tree of Jia give you support while
the educative light of Ding show you the way forward.
The story of Jia Wu is rather unpleasant. Jia is a benevolent element which roughly reflect a protective and
supportive nature. Their life purpose seems to be revolving around the concept of giving. The tree never refuse

anyone that come for their shade. They provide you with fruits during the time of your hunger. They are the
quite type that do not even complain when they are clearly being exploited.

Jia is seated on Wu (Horse) which carries the energy of Ding (Hurting Officer) and Ji (Direct Wealth). They are
on a mission to challenge the status quo, the energy of Hurting Officer pushes them to point out the flaw in the
system, they are verbal and expressive in their statement. To the extend that they are willing to put themselves in
harm way just to show you how right they are. The energy of Direct Wealth gives them the grounded practical
mentality, they will make a point out of it and are willing to put in the time and effort to make thing happen.

Wu combine with Wei (Goat) which will attract in Direct Wealth (Ji), Hurting Officer (Ding) and Rob Wealth
(Yi). For the Male, relationship is a little messy having to constantly compare partner. Our female counterpart
seems to be not too interested in serious relationship. The combination of DW, HO and RW is making them
rather extra competitive with money high on their listing.

Wu counter Zi (Rat) that repel a single energy of Direct Resource (Gui). They usually refuse help and tend to get
thing going on their own. It is my way and only my way, they don’t even bother sending you the highway.

甲子 JIA ZI “THE FIRST”

Being the first in line does have its perk, you got to be independents and attemp everything first hand. It’s
among the more easier character to assess.

Jia wood sitting on Gui water the Direct Resource. Jia being a progressive element, the person has a natural
tendency to peruse growth. They will find way to survive as long as resource is available. Water being the
representation of wisdom and direct resource are knowledge. This person is wonderfully brilliant. They have
this not to give up attitude, ever waiting for opportunity to progress and grow.

They are loner because their environment are lonely. In their intellectual world, they may not be able to see
other eye to eye. This isolation make them cold. They have a strong tendency to be reliant to their mother the
proverbial “momie boy”. They love and cherish friend and family visiting their home, this is their primary
method in gaining knowledge (may be true before Google time).
Zi form a combination with Chou that consist of Xin (DO), Ji (DW) & Gui (DR). For both male and female,
relationship with partner is good, but need to accommodate the mother coming along with the ride. Wealth and
power come to them as well, they make good manager and earn stable income.

Zi form a clash with Wu and repel Ding (HO) & Ji (DW). For male the relationship turn a little distance. Female
will be very loyal to the partner. Career is a little unstable because they put intellectual value above monetary

Overall the male counterpart is more confuse, on one hand whan wealth on the other think it’s unworthy of the

Tall, mighty and majestic would be the simple way to describe a Jia Yin. This tree took a long time to grow and
have endure quite some hardship. The countless storm that it endure and the many cuts that it has encounter as
other try to bring it down. It prevailed and no its stood strong and mighty. Other will find it as an inspiration and
they will tell themselves that one day i’ll grow as strong.

Jia is the leader of the element being the first in the series of 10 elements. They are slow to start and often
caution during the growth process. They have been describe as noble, humble and unassuming. This is due to
their early fragile year when they are still a sapling. The learn that nothing last forever and are diligent in their
own growth process. Once they reach maturity, you see them forge ahead with their confident and out grow
everyone else around them.

Jia here seated on Yin (Tiger) the prime season of spring that carry the Qi of Jia wood (Friend) and sub Qi of
Bing fire (Eating God) and Wu earth (Indirect Wealth). The stacking of Jia show a strong trunk and hence they
can be very determine especially when it come to the subject of friendship (brotherhood). They have a fierce
loyalty toward their chapter. IW keep them focus on the future opportunity while EG give them a great image of
creation. Overall this give them an environment of “don’t worry, just grow and everything will be taken care
of.”

Yin attract Hai (Pig) which has the energy of Ren water (Indirect Resource) and Jia wood (Friend). The often
appearance of friend star indicated that friendship is above romantic relationship. The jia expect to respond to
friend much more frequent that their partner cry. This would of course leave their partner in a lurch and wonder
if they are really important?
Yin push aside Si (Snake) which brings along the Qi of Bing fire (EG), Geng metal (7K) and Wu earth
(IW). Since 7k and IW is both the boyfriend/Girlfriend star, this already indicate that they are not that driven
toward romantic relationship. So, for both the gender, relationship is place way below the call of

甲戌 JIA XU, BONFIRE

Bonfire is where people gather and share their story, express their life experience for the next generation. It
provide the space for creative expression, union and collaboration. 甲戌 Jia Xu offer just the right characteristic
to facilitate this type of important event.

Jia being the dependable unwavering element, it is often perceive as the supporting pillar of the society. Having
the uncanny ability to grow and often through obstacle, they are the ultimate solution provider. Soft meandering
approach, never forcing a situation but yet firm enough of not yielding to your way.

Jia sitting on Xu planted itself on its Indirect Wealth (Wu) as the main Qi. They see the potential in everyone
and everything. They think beyond today and often look at what could have and what can be. Strategic thinking
is in their core and consideration so they are often just a few steps ahead of other people. Wu being earth, help
Wood stand tall, like the mighty oak tree on top of the hill, a true beacon of hope.

Flank by the sub-Qi of Direct Officer (Xin) and Hurting Officer (Ding) this make them a little wild and rebel.
Never shy to express their view and shine some light into the darkness, this make their influence rather obvious.

relationship. Being the rather charismatic person, its is of no surprise that they are more popular among the
fairer sex. The female is already at a disadvantage to be gin with with both HO & DO occupying one pillar, with
the introduction of Yi, the competition actually become more entangling.

JIA SHEN 甲申 WE WILL SURVIVE

Some get stab in their life and just give up and roll over. While Jia Shen decide to just grow over you. It is
always alright to get hurt, its the rate of rebound that count.

Jia wood is one of the more amazing element in pack. It do not seems to have the ability to say no as every
opportunity given is an opportunity to learn for them. There are the element of constant continuous growth.
Wood has this higher calling of protecting all, just like how tree and plant act, they give life by providing
oxygen, food and even sacrifice themselves in the end by providing fuel. This is done despite knowing that most
people around them will turn ungrateful eventually.

Jia is sitting on Shen which carried 3 Qi. Geng Metal (7 Killing) being the main Qi flank by Wu Earth (Indirect
Wealth) and Ren Water (Indirect Resource). This is part of a special relationship called Wealth-Officer-Seal
which create a continuous production cycle that benefit the DayMaster. 7 Killing give Jia the caution and
fighting force, they are risk taker to the core. This would means that the Jia nature of being “exploited” is
heighten, they would accept the job even its clear that they are at the losing end, people would see them as true
noble. IW is the future looking star which give hope to Jia while they attempt the risky mission. They look
beyond the current situation and is instead concentrating on the future good of the action. Their mind is

Indirect Resource give them regeneration, the force of life that help propel them forward. The big picture are
what they look at, and they can adapt and maneuver along the way to keep themselves unharmed.

Relationship for both the male and female is not that ideal as their life is more about risk and sacrifice toward an

EG while now repel the very EG and IW that they have attracted. This affect the male more as IW is still a
partner star to the male. Further to that to stay true to Jia who like to stand alone, even friend will be repel off. If

other is what set the apart, like all vine they can bind and lash on to anything. Their main purpose is of course to
just survive. They have a very keen eye on power and success, they can practically smell who among them are

Yi is seated on You which carried a singular energy of Xin Metal (7 Killing). They are a very action oriented
people driven with a singular purpose to win. Their rule of engagement include the precision of metal and
swiftness of soft wood. They know they cannot afford to waste energy as failure may cost them their survival.
They have hone the skill of precision execution, to look weak and unassuming while waiting and scoping for the
right window to take down their prey in one quick strike.

You will attract Chen (Dragon) that carries the energy of Direct Wealth (Wu Earth), Sub energy of Friend (Yi
wood) and Indirect Resource (Gui water). The male counterpart have an easy time finding their mate. The
friendly and elegant aura gives them this irresistible draw that woman yearn for. For the female, since they lack
a husband star (DO), stability may be an issue but make no mistake as they are natural hot item on the shelves.
You will repel Mao (Rabbit) which have a single energy of friend (Yi wood). Due to their overly strategic

YI MAO 乙卯 WE ARE LEGION

When you like a flower, pluck it but when you love a flower you will leave it alone. Some people are rather
fragile when they are alone but gain strength as their number grow. Yi Mao is on of such person that seek
comfort by the side of their comrades. Don’t you try to bully them when they are banded together !

Yi wood is the symbol of gentle flower and graceful grass. The element is one of the most approachable
element. People with this element is often socially endowed with the ability to sense and adjust. They are often
non threatening and you will feel right at home with them around you. Their greatest asses is their ability to
blend in your environment, does not matter if its a down to earth setup or a high net worth party, they will be
able to dress the occasion and act the part.

Yi is seated on Mao (Rabbit) which carry a singular energy of Yi Wood (Friend). When they are with their
friend, their confident naturally soar. People that are seated on a friend star would usually have long term
relationship issue. This is due to their rather easy lifestyle as they treasure “friendship” above all other. Its very
easy to be closed with them but its hard to be special to them. You, to them is just one of the many supporting
associate and you will get confuse over time as they treat everyone with the same intimacy.

Mao combine with Xu (Dog) that carry Wu earth (Direct Wealth), Xin metal (7 Killing) and Ding fire (Eating
God). For the male, its actually encouraging with the appearance of Wife star (DW) and further strengthen by

Mao clash with You (Rooster) which carry the energy of Xin metal (7 Killing). For the lady this push away the
boyfriend star. Easy come and easy go but this is actually rather good for those that manage to convert the lady

very hard for you not to pay attention to. They are loud and does pack a punch when they decider to attack. Yi Si
is a pillar that can command attention and you may want to quickly decide what to do when you see one.

Yi for being the Yin of the Wood element are a very flexible survivalist element. It will grow given any
environment and will flourish when the condition is correct. We usually describe them as social networking
genius and the element that has the ability to bind even the most aggressive element (Geng). They are usually
pleasant and posh looking. They are not attention seeker but are rather the “adorable puppy” type that display
vulnerability to the state that you would want to just protect them. Just take good note that they will bend and
manipulate for the sake of survival.

They are seated right on top of Hurting Officer (Bing), this is where all the attention craving desire come from.
Bing the sun having the uncanny ability to reverse growth the Yi wood, it give them the ability to be extra
adaptive. They are very adept with their word and they know how to used their voice to get what they want. The
pillar is accompany with a Direct Wealth (Wu), this make them sensitive to with opportunity and are very
persistence in perusing them. They will see angle in their approach and attack which they will leverage greatly
to gain an advantageous footing. Finally, they have the Direct Officer (Geng) in the pillar that is totally suppress
by the Hurting Officer. In the olden day, this would be a rebel trouble maker raising discontentment with the
local authority. They see rule in a different light and strive to change them whenever they see fit. It can be
totally chaotic working with them as they ignored formal structure to reach their destination.

Si combine with Shen which attract Geng (Direct Officer), Ren (Direct Resource) and Wu (Direct Wealth). For
both man and woman the spouse star (DW/DO) is pull into their life. but because of the initial HO which repel
DO, relationship is a confusing item for the female Yi Si while the male get strengthen with marriage.

Si clash with Hai which carry away Ren (Direct Resource) and Jia (Rob Wealth). This is of course good with the
male relationship as the competition star get push away. It is not that great with the female as well as DR which
provide the control to HO is push away as well.

Overall you are looking at a pillar that is very unorthodox and loud. They are very adapted to bend and sway in
society. They can effectively make themselves know to the public and are not shy to used their best asset to

Ren is resided on Yin (Tiger) which has the main Qi of Jia Wood (Eating God) flank by the sub Qi of Bing fire
