of advance technology, phones are not only primary medium of communication, but also
in spreading and gathering information. According to statista.com, the number of mobile
phone users in the Philippines in year 2018 is approximately 72.6 million, almost 70% of
our population.

Because of advance and accessible gadgets, research and data gathering

Government agencies post information in their website such as statistics and even
activities and current events. When there is calamity, Government use social media and
SMS to send warning and advice. If you are not familiar in a certain place, you can now
use mobile application that locates where you are and guide you to the right way. Phones
and other technologies make our life simple.

By simplifying people’s work, sometimes we do not notice that some of information

we read are not reliable, FAKE. Some people take the opportunity to spread wrong
information. Some use it in bullying or in terrorism such as bomb treat or even in real
bombing. There are sites in internet that are promoting violence.
