Dear Oshakati Town Council CEO:

We are delighted to submit this letter as a first step towards discussing our proposal for a
sustainable solar farm in the Oshakati district.

The cost of energy from municipal power grids continues to increase year-on-year, and the
importance of maintaining a healthy environment cannot be ignored, if only for the reason that
Namibia continues to be a net importer of electricity. Despite these hurdles, there is an enormous
opportunity to provide a locally-run and locally-generated solution in the form of solar farms in a
region that receives excellent sunshine for 95% of the calendar year. Installing a solar energy system
is a cost-effective, sustainable, and simple way to reduce your environmental footprint and your
energy budget. Solar energy is non-polluting and renewable. And most importantly, in the long term
it’s free. Over 25 years, we envision a new system which will offset your carbon footprint by 20
tonnes of CO2, equal to planting 35 acres of trees.

Liquid Events Namibia would like to request a meeting to discuss the possibility of initiating this
project, in collaboration with the Oshakati Town Council. Our attached proposal contains a brief
overview of a solar energy plan that we feel could uplift our citizens. We’ve included facts and
figures supporting the expected outcome a solar energy system will have on your overall costs, and
projecting when your new system will "pay for itself" in energy savings.

We're hopeful that our proposal in the solar energy field will receive your attention, and we look
forward to talking to you about making headway on this project.

Sincerely,
Oshakati Town Council CEO
