I. ITEM DESCRIPTION

Busduct system is designed for the effective and efficient supply of electricity mostly
in industrial locations. Aluminum is used for the conductor of busduct that are
insulated and enclosed completely for protection against mechanical damage and
dust accumulation. A busduct system is usally used for distributing of power from
switchgear to various loads.

II. RECEIVING INSPECTION

It is important that a thorough inspection of the busduct system shall be made


before it is unloaded from the carrier.

a. Upon arrival of busduct at site, inspect all the number of crate assembly
using the port delivery documents.
b. With the use of fork lift, lift and unload each crate from the container van
and bring it to secured storage area.
c. At secured storage area, position wooden crate support at the floor with an
approximate height of 100mm for possible water at the floor slab surface.
d. Position each crate using the fork lift inside the secured storage area to
accommodate enough and ventilated space.
e. If all the crate are positioned inside the secured storage area, cover the crate
with blue sack to protect the busduct.

III. HANDLING

Special procedures must be followed when handling busduct with required ambient
temperatures. Contact your factory representative for further instructions. Failure to
follow special handling procedures may cause premature failure of busduct.

IV. STORAGE

Busduct shall be placed in secured storage area with no wet works and water tight
slabs above

WARNING: Improper handling can cause severe injury, death, or damage to busduct.
