2) Connect everything with pipes (don't forget to draw a junction between the reservoir
1 and the junction 4 in order to properly connect the pump in the system;
6) Depending on your units set them at Browser -> Options -> Hydraulics;
Flow units: CFS (Cubic feet per second);
Head Loss Formula: D-W (Darcy-Weisbach);
8) Set the Pump Curve to your Pump. Double Click the Pump and put the number of
your Pump Curve;
10) To view the hydraulic values of the system, go to View -> Options;
-> Notation -> Check “Display Node Values” and “Display Link Values”;
-> Flow Arrows -> Check “Open”, you can change the size;
-> Labels -> Check “Display Map Labels”;
You can change the values you want to see on the screen in the Browser
(Nodes and Links);
You can change some values and then run again the analysis and check the
differences;
If you want you can also double click the junction, pipe or reservoir to see their
parameters and values obtained;
In order to change aesthetically your drawing, right click on the drawing sheet,
go to Options and make the changes you want.
11) If you want to integrate a junction with a specific demand during the day, you
should create a Demand Pattern. Go to Browser -> Patterns -> Add;

12) Add a new junction to your scheme, with 290m of elevation and a pipe connection
with length of 100m, diameter of 12in and roughness of 0.8mm;

13) Double click your new junction and set Base Demand = 1 and Demand Pattern = 1
(the number you named to your daily pattern);
