heart surgery
Katie: uhm ok… how much will it cost?

Dcotr: 150,00 pounds. I know its a lot but im assuming one for your
parents has insurance to cover with work. As
its so complicated its not run through the
nhs.
Katie : I don’t have another parent! She’s all I have.

Doctor : she has no health imsurance at all?

Katie: no , her job isn’t high paying enough and

she’s been a single mother my whole life and
always has been sick.

Doctor : Im sorry then but unless you can come up with

150,000 I give your mother about 8 weeks to
live. Im sorry to be so harsh.
Scene two -int. house night time

Katie; well I can’t just leave it like this can i.
