Common locations for 80s music videos seemed to be studios where they could manipulate
space and put up props. They had a lot of plain walls and now too much distraction or
dimension in the room so that they could input funky effects without it being too
overwhelming. There for I have chosen to shoot in my house because I have large rooms with
plain walls that allow flexibility of angles and manipulation of set where I can adapt the
environment and put up different scenes.

risk as it’s a private driveway.

Music V Shooting Script
Description of visuals .

We see the two characters wake up in

parallel shots. Their scenes are very
different. The woman’s is bright and warm.
The mans is sophisticated and cold.

They begin to go about their day to day life.

Making breakfast and brushing their teeth.
Each of their actions is done accordingly to
their warm or cold personality.

When in the bathroom the man is looking at

himself in a cocky manner and grinning. He’s
obsessed with himself.

They get in their cars and we hear audio

tracks fitting to their personality. This shot is
straight forward and they are centre shot.

After arriving at work they walk past the

same homeless man at separate times and the
man throws his coffee cup at him and the
woman gives him money. The shot is parallel
with them. The homeless man is centre shot
making him look small and innocent.

They arrive at their office and the woman

takes a seat in her crowded desk. The shot is
high and makes her look small and crowded.
Before she can settle in we move to a shot
from the surface of her desk which cuts half
her face off. She is instantly thrown
paperwork at and bombarded. She is centre
shot and low down. We then see the male
continue to walk with pride into his large
empty office from a low shot making him
look powerful.
Ge sits at his desk and begins to look at the
large project of trying to figure out a
criminal who is conducting a series of heists.

A news broadcast comes on to tv and both

the man and woman are watching it form
their separate desks. It is about the case the
man is working on and he aggressively turns
it off. The woman choses to email her boss
offering input about the case. He aggressively
replies telling her her input isn’t valid as he’s
just the secretary.
The man continues to struggle and work on
the case and we see time pass on the clock to
show the countless hours with no
improvement. He locks up for the night and
storms out.

We cut to the next morning. He wakes up

and sees on the news that his place of work
was the next targeted heist. He rushes to
work and sees its trashed and his money has
been taken from his desk and evidence
destroyed. We see in red lettering a quote
from the email of his response to the woman
and he begins to understand it was the
woman who was the criminal as he flashes
back to their meeting scene where he
dismisses her.

Scenes from the beginning then play again

but are extended to show their true nature.
We start with when she wakes up. In the
original scene she grabs her glasses form the
drawer but in this scene we see a further shot
where she goes in the draw and the contents
are revealed. They have a ski mask, gloves,
and stacks of cash in the darwer.

We see her in the kitchen where she was

making her breakfast and see a further
extension of her avoiding her gun when
picking out her cereal.

Then when she is at her desk emailing the

boss, we see a further extension of her closing
the email tab and looking at blue prints of the
office ad different entrances and researching
and documenting the bosses personal
information like the safe code.

I then flashes back to him sat in a destroyed

room understanding that he had under
estimated his secretary.

We then see her driving in her car with all

his articles and money in a bag next to her
singing along to a song that is related to the
film. Potentially about female empowerment
or ironically a very jolly and polite song.

Description of visuals
Viewing around the girls bedroom. Looking
at all the 80s décor and seeing each girl
individually and as a group
We see the girls watching tv, news reports
and flipping through magazines. They are
seeing many people in places of power and
gazing over them.
The dream sequence begins and the girls
begin to drift off and start imagining these
lifetsyles.
We swe the first dream sequence. One of the
girls is dreaming of being president. She is
dressed smart and is centre shot making her
look large and powerful from a low angle.
There is flashing cameras and she is well
dressed at a podium.
We pan back to the 80s and see return to the
first girl finishing her dream sequence and
smiling at the media because she knows what
she can achieve. We then pan on to the next
girl who’s looking at an engineering
magazine.
The music playing now is ironically happy
and jolly. It has an eary and successful tone.
It’s a song from the 50s that projects the idea
of innocence.

We drift off and see the second girl working
under a car as an engineer. She is messy and
dressed rough but very good at her job and very
happy. The angle is low and shows her hard
work.

Cut back to the bedroom and see the second girl

smile at her magazine imagining he So glad weve almost made it
possibilities. Then see the this girl looking at a So glad they had to fade it
stock chart and newspaper about the male stock
investors. Pan to her dream

We see the thirds girl in an expensive office

surrounded by expensive articles like money Everybody wants to rule the world
and jelwery. She has certificates and awards Instrumental
around her and is dressed posh. She has her legs
up and is looking at a stock chart and making
notes.

We pan back to the third girl and see her

smiling at her newspaper. She alters the
newspaper headline to make it gender friendly.

We see a wider shot of all the girls looking at Married with a lack of vision
their media. There attention is diverted to Everyboidy wants to ruke the world
newscast on the tv where they see a woman
successful in her field. Undecided for now.
They all see her and smile. Say that youll never never never never need
it
We se multiple real life clips then played Oneheadline why believe it
through of female success stories over the years Everybody wants to rule the world
to show progression over the years.

We then finally see all the girls sat together on a

plain background. They are sat evenly and the
shot is even. They are sat with posture and All for freedom and for pleasure
power and are smiling. Nothing ever lasts forever
