English is very important especially to those who have a wider audience like
journalists, political figures or lawyers because they get to influence the people how to
use English. Wrong construction in English can confuse people who are reading or
listening to you that instead of giving them clarifications you only confuse them even
more. Proper english is also vital to those who are seeking jobs otherwise they might end
up being unemployed. To be a truly proficient in english we must be able to think and
write in grammatically correct english. There is a huge problem in english of the people
and we must noy ignore it the government must do something to improve the knowledge
of the students, teachers and of the people because english is the language being used by
the people in presenting their ideas, in expressing their opinions and communicating with
others.

2. Enumerate the gramnar lessons or tips learned from the article read
The article taught me the proper use of “go”and “come” according to the article
we use “go” when it is moving away from the speaker and we use “come” when comimg
towards the speaker. The article also taught us when to use the objective “me” and the
nominative “I”. The article provides that in writing a resume, simplicity and elegancy os
the key without putting superfluous words. Furthermore, in writing resume the writer
must avoid being overconfident or overbearing. The use of right tone or language can
land us to the job we seek. The first thing to study to be proficient in english is how to
connect and combine the words or phrases. The writer is encouraging us that we must
start teaching the schoolchildren the difference in construction between tagalog and
english.
3. Give your reflections on the problem with our English
The english language plays an important role in our lives not only in looking for
job or expressing your opinions but also in communicating others because it is the
globally used language .The problem with our English is widespread because instead of
progressing in it we stopped studying it and we failed to focus on developing it.The fact
that we know how to write in english is not enough we must know how to properly and
proficiently talk and write in emglish. The worst part in the dilemma in our English is

that our failures in the proper use of english is contagious it is being adapted by the
youths who reads our articles or listens to our speech. So, it is important that we are very
strict in using the english language so that the next generation will not copy what is
wrong. One of the results in having poor knowledge in english is the difficulty in finding
job because when your resumé are not worthy of the time of the employer you will not be
able to have a job. It is a must that we are very articulate in making our resumé, we must
impress the reader right away. In additional to that, despite having knowledge with
english if we do not know how to properly use it it will only result to confusion or
sometimes misunderstanding. In communicating with other we must do it in a way that
they will be able to understand and absorb the information being presented. There is a
need to fix our english in cooperation with the teachers. The national government must
see the need of developing our knowledge in tagalog and English. The article provides
that the government must do something to improve the english of the people by starting
to schoolchildren then, to the schoolteachers. The schoolteachers must undergo
continuing english proficiency class and give them reward for such.
