About College
Lords Universal Degree College was established in the year 2004 as a
permanently Unaided College, Affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It
started with three courses i.e. B.Com., B.M.S. & B.Sc. with 151 students and
the strength increased to the multiple of 20 folds as of today. Looking at the
needs of the competitive environment in the open market in the field of
education the College expands with variety of courses in all streams such as
B.Com. (Financial Accountancy), B.Com. (Business Management), B.Com.
(Banking & Insurance), B.Com. (Accounting & Finance), Bachelor of
Management Studies, BSc. (Microbiology), B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc.
(Information Technology), Bachelor in Mass Media (Advertising), BA
Multimedia and Mass Communication (Journalism) in Under-graduate
section.

„FINCO‟ is not just an event but a platform to bring
together like minded people to showcase their talents as
well as encourage cognitive development. It is an initiative
by the visionary students of Accountancy & Economics
department. Don‟t miss the chance to get out of the walls of
academia and open up a surfeit of opportunities to interact
and network.
Start Up India

 Participants can present their business ideas in the following pattern
 Company overview  Product description
 Target customers  Marketing strategies
 Competitive analysis  Risk management
 Presentations should be emailed an hour prior to the beginning of the event
to “nilesh.pashilkar@universal.edu.in” and should be brought in a
pendrive as backup.
 Maximum 15 minutes will be given to each team to present their idea.
 Maximum 5 members are permitted per team.
 The team with the most innovative idea wins.
 Registration fees : Rs.100/-
Virtual Stock Trading
Lelo Market Mutthi Mein!
 Participant(s) will be provided virtual currency to trade in the share
market.
 Participant(s) need to carry their own calculators.
 Participant(s) can participate individually or in pair.
 Winner(s) will be the participant(s) with maximum portfolio value at the
closing of the trade.
 Further rules will be disclosed on the spot.
 Registration fees : Rs.40/-
Business Quiz
Samajh Business Ki, Uljhan Shabdo Ki
 Quiz is divided into 3 rounds.
 Elimination will occur after every round.
 No negative marking.
 Basis of elimination and scoring will be disclosed on the day of the event.
 Participations will be accepted individually or in pair.
 Registration fees : Rs.20/-
Crossword
Keep Calm & Crossword On
 Crossword puzzle could be solved by answering the questions asked and
placing the answers in the correct grid.
 The quickest solved puzzle with the maximum correct answers will win.
 Participant(s) can participate individually or in pair.
 Registration fees : Rs.20/-
Poster Making

 A3 size papers will be provided.
 Participants need to bring their own materials.
 Topics will be disclosed on the spot.
 Individual participation event.
 The maximum time allotted is 1 hour only.

Heads up Challenge

 Each team will have two minutes to guess as many cards as possible.
 The team with the most correct guesses wins.
 The participant can act or give hints.
 Registration fees: Rs.20/-
AD Selfie Challenge
Vyaapar Ka Aaina
 Use your marketing skills and come up with a unique tagline for the
product provided by the organizers.
 Vulgarity and obscenity of any form will lead to immediate disqualification.
 Mobile phones provided by us can only be used by the participant for
clicking a selfie.
 Registration fees: Rs.10/-
General Rules
 Entry to the venue will be strictly based on VALID COLLEGE identity card.
 The participants are expected to follow appropriate dress code.
 Participants registered for multiple events should strictly abide to the timing.
 Online/cash payment to be done at the time of registration.
 Payment of online registration must be done simultaneously.
 Registration will be confirmed only after the receipt of payment and registration details.
 College will take strict disciplinary action on any misconduct/misbehavior on the part of
candidates.
 Organizers reserve the rights to modify the rules without prior notice.
Security Rules
 Carry valuables at your own risk.
 Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp objects like knives, scissors, blades,
lighters etc.
 Disorderly behavior, violence, offensive language, smoking in the premises and
possession of cigarettes, drugs or any other intoxicant can lead to disqualification of the
participant along with further legal actions.
 Participants can report any concern to the committee volunteers.
 Anything that is perceived of being offensive to any national, religious, linguistic
sentiments or gender will lead to disqualification.
 Participants should follow the mentioned rules and regulations, failing to which will lead
to disqualifications.
Disclaimer
 Venue and time for each event will be informed 2 days prior to the event.
 Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
 Arguments/obscenity of any kind/use of abusive language is strictly prohibited and will
lead to further disciplinary action.
 Participants must be present at least an hour prior to the event.
 Judges decision will be final and abiding.
 Teams participating for „Start Up India‟ must register themselves online on or before
08th February 2020.
 Extended registration time will be permitted up till half an hour before the event starts
on premium registration charges.
