Notes for the Minuet by Haydn In measure 8, Eliot plays: instead of the 3rds in Segovia's edition, to accommodate the considerably higher tempo of the video performance. Similarly, in measure 36, Eliot plays: Eliot also eliminated the slur in measure 51 because of the higher tempo. In measures 21-22, Eliot plays: This is as per the Haydn original; Segovia had raised this an octave.
