General Description:
Coffee Day Enterprises are the parent company of the Coffee Day Group, which houses Café
Coffee Day that pioneered the coffee culture in the chained café segment in India. This coffee
goes all over the world to clients across, Europe and Japan, making them one of the top coffee
exporters in the country. They opened our first Café Coffee Day outlet in Bengaluru in 1996.
Coffee Day serves 1.8 billion cups of coffee annually in six countries. Coffee Day group started
its operations in 1993 through its subsidiary Coffee Day Global Limited, which presently has
established the largest footprint of café outlets in India – spread over 245 cities. Coffee Day
Enterprises has been facing a downward spiral since March this year.
Their presence across various formats consists of corporates, government bodies‘ offices, hotels
and restaurants, automobile showrooms, jewellery showrooms and apparel stores, airport
lounges, railway stations, road transport hubs, petrol stations, malls, schools, colleges, hospitals
and their clients span top IT sector companies, banking and finance sector companies, premium 5
star hotels, telecom, media & advertising, co-working, real estate, among others.
Their 15000+ acres of coffee estates today are tucked in the hills of Chikmagalur, also known as
the cradle of coffee in India. Apart from growing their own coffee, they source coffee from
11,000 small growers. Each steaming cup of coffee is made from finest handpicked and expertly
roasted beans from their own Coffee Estates. As all their activities are vertically integrated, the
beans are cured, roasted and even packaged in their own manufacturing units in Chikmagalur.

One of the proud additions to their portfolio of impressive machine offerings is a joint venture
with Schaerer to give the best of Swiss technology in perfect partnership with the warmth of
Indian hospitality.

stations located in major branches

Gross revenues increased by 22% to Rs.43, 305 million in 2017-18, compared with
Rs.35, 519 million reported in 2016-17.
