Differentiation

Differentiation is effective teaching that involve providing all students with in

their classrooms personalize learning according to their need, strength and
interest.

Students varies in their abilities; teacher should be aware of a variety

of students that they have in their classroom by knowing their learning needs
teacher can make personalize activities catering the needs of students. For
example, some students learn better through audio and video while other find
it easier to directly listen to the teacher and other likes activities for example
using flashcards, reading and reinforcement. Every individual has their own
learning capacity.
A teacher should be flexible and ready to perform different activity
according to learner levels and capacity.

Teacher should continuously access the strength and area of

improvement in order to meet student needs making students sit in a group
and giving them chance to discuss with other students, this way teacher can
help them overcome their fear of speaking and participating, providing student
reading material giving chances of exploring on internet and conducting
discussion in class room is an effective way of student learning.

I had no prior knowledge of the technique “differentiation”. This is

new to me I found it very useful because often there are students in class who
do not seem to understand even the simple things. It helps focusing on the
needs of the individual student.
It's very important to create learning stations to cater the students
need this way different technique are applied on different students e.g. by
providing different resources on each station, it became easy for students to
learn through resources of their choice.
Level of understanding of every student is different, teacher should
continuously access the strength and area of improvement in order to bring
the best results out of each student.
Every student doesn't require the same amount of support they
should be given chances to express themselves learning process also depend
on student ability encourage them to express what they have learnt through
different ways. Provide and encourage the use of various recourse in preparing
their product give them chances to explain to other students take assessments,
ask them to make questions of what they have learnt and explain their learning
to their class in form of presentation.

Help students express them self completely
