Addressing this report to Executive director and HR Head, Where I will be discussing about
the present process of performance management and its drawbacks and how it can be
improved.
1) Optimization of appraisal system so as to make it more transparent for the employee and
provide them with more chances for their improvement and course correction. Ex- Reducing
appraisal system from 1 year to 6 months.
2) Optimization of Goal setting process and specially the measurement and definition of
success criterion of goals- As now it is done only by managers and HR, but for better
optimization it can include peer reviews as well.
3) Current appraisal system is entirely based on Bell curve measurement, but this
measurement system often excludes many good performers, (who are extremely good but
may not be best ones) which can be demotivating for the employee.
