THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

INTRODUCTION
The new k-12 is already implemented by the
government without enough preparation. It add two years
of senior high school, 11th and 12th grade, to the
countrys basic education system.

Many students and parents are not ready for the

implementation of k-12 in lack of knowledge and in
financial. Also in the Unavailability of learning
materials is one of the problems, still bounding the
countrys new basic education program, k-12 in the 2
years of its implementation. (legaspi 294).

And the main reason for this study is to explore the

ture of these common academic challenges that has been
faced by accountants as of now and finding a way of how
can this problem be manage. Will be big help for the
ABM students who encountered challenges

As an accounting student, one of the most challenging

parts of your student life would be the time spent
completing regular account homework assigned by the
teachers. In many cases, students find it too difficult
to finish homework related to accounting by themselves
given the time consuming nature of thes assignment.
(luther 1923).
 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

1.Why did you choose accounting?

2.What are the advantage and disadvantages of being

an accuntant?

3.What you realize after you become an accountant?

THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK

Theory of chanllenge and support by Nevitt

sanford. Sanfords Theory of Challenge and support
states that for optimal students developmental
growth in a college environment, Challenge they
experience must be with supports that can
sufficiently tolerate the stress of the challenge
itself.
He addressed the relationship between the student
and their college environment.
 SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

The research was conducted at Eastern Star A cademy

San Mateo,Rizal. This study limit its coverage on the
abm student and people who graduate an accountancy. The
study would be done through the interview and asking
some questions to the respondents as a survey and
reference. By their problems that has been encountered
by the accountants.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The research would be beneficial to the

students because they will know the advantage or
disadvantages of their choosen strand and how it
affect in their academic performance in college.
In this study the students can be aware on
things that what can a wrong decision in
choosing your strand can affect your study
It can be beneficial also in the teachers. In
teaching style of the professors and faciliyies
to identify problems encountered and to propose
a plan of action to improve the learning of
professional subjects.
