ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Extraction of fetal ECG signal from abdominal signal:
Using correlation analysis and Empirical Mode Decomposition, successfully obtained fetal ECG from mother’s abdominal ECG for
reliable detection of hypoxic conditions in fetus.
Client-Server File Exchange using Sockets:
Built a client-server model for file transfers of different content types and simple file processing using User Datagram
Protocol through socket programming in Python
HTTP-based Webserver using socket programming:
An HTTP webserver that handles and responds to multiple requests from client/browser using multithreading and
displays webpage and opens the different links and files on the webpage when requested to
Distributed file server for reliable and secure file storage:
Created a DFS that would allow a client to store and retrieve files from multiple servers. If one of the servers goes down,
the redundancy would still allow the client to be able to retrieve a file
Network Management using SNMP and NMAP:
Designed and automated an SNMP based network to monitor the health and metrics of network devices. Also automated
the discovery of devices entering or leaving the network using NMAP
CloudWatch metric generation from AWS EC2 instances:
Automated the process of generation of data for metrics like CPU Utilization and creation and email of alarms for critical
values to the administrator
