Mahabaleshwara is a famous hill station situated in the Sahyadri ranges in western part
of Maharashtra in Satara district.
i) By Road- It was well connected to other cities of Maharashtra . Regular ordinary and
super express S.T. buses, private luxury buses from
Pune,Satara,Nasik,Nagar,Kolhapur,and Mumbai are available. It is 120 km from Pune
and 247km from Mumbai.
ii) By Rail – Nearest railway station is Pune.
iii) By Air- The nearest airport is Pune.

the capital state of Maratha rule.
