LINGGO NG KABATAAN
BRGY. IDIACACAN AND SITIO CALABANOG CELEBRATION
THEME: “BUGTAW PAMATAN-ON KAG MAG-UGYON”

I. DATE AND VENUE:

II. RATIONALE:

Designed to facilitate the needs of Barangay Idiacacan and Sitio

Calabanog most especially to the youth in celebrating its Linggo ng Kabataan
2018 in contribution to the town’s colorful week long celebration of its
cultural diversity. This celebration and festive strives in establishing the
collective identity and distinction of the youth of Barangay Idiacacan and
Sitio Calabanog. By highlighting the rich culture and beauty of the barangay.
This event will serve as the fresh spice full of activities that are worthy and
fruitful. As they say, no man is an island. This event will teach them that, to
work as a group is better than to do things alone and soon realize that
everyone has a worth and nothing is made for nothing. Removing the
boundaries of separations and indifferences among the youth.

III. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

These activities are aimed at uniting elements of fun with a purpose and
promote harmonious relations among them. Where they can come together,
engage in activities related to their diverse needs and interests, participate

in physical activities, individual personality developments and freely express
themselves. Empowering youth program, fun games and promoting our
custom and culture to the young generation. This will widen their vision of
friendship, hard work and social involvement and soon realize that things
come and go as it could, but the sweetest achievements are gain through
hard work and teamwork.

IV. OBJECTIVES:

 To gather the youth of Barangay Idiacacan and Sitio Calabanog in

developing the spirit of teamwork, and discipline in promotion of
harmonious relations among them.
 To empower youth program, fun games and promoting our social
custom and culture to the young generation.
 To generate the wellness and welfare of every youth with a sustainable
development on the society.
 To encourage youth in holding functions responsibly and shall perform
duties and conducts in every purok.
 To promote a positive and healthy-image, social responsibility and the
spirit of volunteerism among youth.
