According to Escalona, (2017) Philippine jeepneys are also called as "King of the
Road". Jeepneys are the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines.
Jeepneys are very important to all Filipinos because with the help of it, everyone can go
anywhere but because of the poor design and it causes air pollution,the administration
of President Rodrigo Duterte wants to take all jeepneys 15 years or older off the streets
and replace them with a more eco-agreeable, minivan-like form that is greater, more
secure and produces fewer emissions. Jeepney operators cannot do anything but to be
The Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ) Modernization Program is one of the issues in
the Philippines today. This program discusses modernizing the traditional jeepney
Industry and furthermore the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board
(LTFRB) are seeking after the PUJ Modernization Program, to lessen the smoke

challenging about this issue since it will be costly for them to modernize their vehicles.
Likewise, the people are affected because of the so called “Jeepney Strike” because the
local government announced a class suspension for the students and for some
government employees but not for the workers. According to Francisco K. also, Sy K.
(2017), the administration intends to replace all old PUJs age 15 years or more
established with environment-friendly jeepneys that have safety features. The objective
of the Public Utility Jeepney Modernization Program is to advance more secure and
opposed by many transport groups. Still, despite the advantages of the modernized

here in Malabon City about implementing Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program
(PUVMP).This research wants to inform people especially the operators about the
improvement of the new jeepney that will soon to be implement by the government and
it has different advantages in the society and environment through the infographics that
selected jeepney operators in Malabon City. As shown in the diagram, the selected
jeepney operators will be the main subject of the researchers. The profile of the
respondents will be the input in terms of (a) age; (b) educational attainment; and (c)
years of being a jeepney operator. Likewise, the perceptions of jeepney operators about
