Christian Greetings!
Education is the powerful weapon in order to survive. Thus, an individual should be equipped with
the vital skills to cope up with the global trends and changes that are happening in this 21st century.
As a Filipino who cares for her countrymen, I and my colleagues envision a better future among
the Filipino expatriate children here in Thailand, especially for their education. Hence, the San
Lorenzo Upatham School, a non-profit and non-stock language school registered in Thailand, is
founded. It aims to address the educational needs of the Filipino children who are not capable to
study in a Thai formal school.
Knowing that this school is not under the supervision of the Department of Education, there is a
problem with regards to students’ earning of credits for the program that is implemented.
Accordingly, I wrote a letter addressed to the Director of BEA-Education Assessment Division to
conduct an on-site Philippine Education Placement Test here in our school.
On August 28, 2019, we received an approval letter from the BEA – Education Assessment
Division; however, they recommended us to communicate with your good office and request for
the endorsement letter before they will schedule the on-site examination for the Filipino students.
In this connection, we are humbly ask your endorsement for this matter.
Attached herewith, is the letter sent to the Director of BEA and the printed email of their response.
