AIRLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

Airline Reservation System is a web portal to book airline ticket online. The objective of
the project is to design an Airline Reservation System application which enables the customers to
search and book flights. The Airline Reservation System project mainly consists of two types of
users. The customers who access the information provided by the Airline Reservation System
and the administrator who modifies and updates the information available in the website.
The system has two types of Login; User and Admin, from user’s login he/she can check
ticket status, seat availability, Reservation and cancel the ticket. Admin has all the controls of the
system, he/she can add airline details such as schedule, aircraft, sector, flights and has control
over deleting flights that are not necessary. This system helps the user to directly access the
system to book tickets. The administrator and user can both enter the system using their
respective login details. It is easy to operate and understood by the users.
Project Overview:

Customer can check the timings of flights which travel between two places on a
specified date and their availability at anytime and anywhere, by using this application. A
customer should get a chance of take a trip of continuous travel in which flights are changed
frequently by using this application. The basic concepts of airline ticket reservation should be
maintained by this application. When a specific flight gets delayed due to technical problems ,
users can get updated information through this application easily.
