B. After my orientation session with my practicum supervisor and
cooperating principal, I need to equip myself with the Practice Teaching kit
to better prepare myself in this wonderful world of teaching.

Knowledge

Skills

Attitude

Habits

My Analysis
Complete the structured frame.

Orientation sessions are conducted because

In doing so, a smooth flow and harmonious transition between the Pre-Service
Teachers and the Coordinating School should be experienced. This is necessary to
avoid any queries which could take time when doing it on the spot and not
beforehand. This is also advantageous because it provide a line to where and to when
not to do anything or it gives a boundary and limitations. The information from the
orientation if a prior weapon for harmonious Practice teaching.

I need to follow the policies and procedures of the cooperating school so that

I could serve as a role model to the students who will look up on us as their educator. I
believe these set of rules were made to promote oneness and peace in the school. By doing
so, I will not have to ask for a lot of questions regarding my teaching experience when it
could all be answered in one meeting which is the orientation. This also gives me the
necessary information that I could use when any instances could happen like asking for help
for better teaching. These policies of the school is crucial in preventing any chaotic situation
as it is controlled or regulated by higher authorities of the school in promoting peace, order,
and discipline among teachers and students.

5
My Reflections/ My insights

A. How did I feel after the orientation? Complete the empty face and
explain why you felt that way? What are your joys/apprehensions?
I need to follow the policies and procedures of the cooperating school so
that
I will be able to help in its implementation as the__
students will discipline themselves seeing that___
even we teachers would abide on those set of___
rules and regulations. This will also be of great___
help in implementing peace and order inside the__
school. Teachers as we are were expected to____
impose rules it. As expected from us, it should be
our joy to fulfil our duties as being role models that
the students would look up to. Following the
imposed rules and regulations of the cooperating
school means being one with them in their vision
and goal in giving quality standard and harmonious
flow giving the rightful education and discipline to
the students in the attainment of producing highly
competitive and passionate citizens of the
community.

B. Am I really to teach? Why? Why not?

Knowing at this very well, i could really say this profession is an opportunity
Destined for someone like me who possesses passion and interest in
Reaching out to young individuals who will eventually be ambassadors of
change for the community.

ROUTINES
These are the backbone of daily classroom life. They facilitate
teaching and learning. Routines do not just make your life easier, they
save valuable classroom time. What’s more important is efficient routines
make it easier for students to learn and achieve more. When routines and
procedures are carefully taught, modelled and established in the
classroom, children know what is expected of them and how to do certain
things on their own. Having these predictable patterns in place allows
teachers to spend more time in meaningful instruction.
