The 4th Singing Competition for Malaysian Non-Chinese College Students

We are going to hold the 4th Mandarin Singing Competition for Non-Chinese college
students in September, please recommend students to join this competition.

There will be a online preliminary round and a live final round. that we will post on
the kongzi um’s facebook, And 30 candidates will be selected to compete in the final
round.

Candidates Requirement:

1. Malaysian Citizen
2. Non-Chinese Race
3. College students
4. Solo with accompaniment music
5. Bring your own Musical Instruments

About Competition:

1. Online Preliminary Round:

Video: maximum 4-minutes video

File type: MP4

File title: name of song + name of candidate

Submission date: before 9th August

Competition date: 10th August ---10th September

 Selection announcement date: 11th September

Adjudication by :

a. 3 professional adjudicators , which take 60 percent of scores.

b. Quantities of Likes on Facebook, which take 40 percent of scores.

c. Scoring standard by professional adjudicators:

vocal 60%
Stage performance 20%
dress 10%
Lyric pronunciation 10%

2. Live Final Round:

Live Competition date: 30th September

Adjudicated by three professional adjudicators.

Prize : 1st place: RM 500

2nd place: RM 300
3rd place: RM200
4th -10th place : consolation prizes
