Research Title: A Proposed Hillside Camping Resort In

Natividad, Pangasinan: Introducing ‘Glamping’
as a Creative Type of Accommodation through
the ‘Tiny-House’ Concept

_____________________________________________________

Natividad is known for its pilgrimage site and nature tourist spots

which makes the town one of the most visited place in the province of

Pangasinan. However, the existing facilities for accommodation within the

area is not adequate to accommodate a large number of tourists. As a result,

the town is envisioned to build and establish more facilities and amenities

that can offer leisure, relaxation and lodging for both locals and tourists.

Introducing a creative type of accommodation can satisfy the people’s leisure

and outside hospitality experiences through the ‘tiny-house’ concept

integrating a flexible design of functional areas. With the use of biophilic

design, it will enhance the human to nature connection that will add to the

relaxation and leisure to the users.

Keywords: accommodation, tiny-house, flexible design, biophilic design
