FLAMENCO FUSION EVENING


A interactive Spanish inspired entertainment evening with Cornelia Puler from Alma Flamenca and her dancers. Bring your
dancing shoes.

NATIONAL SPAIN DAY
Please join us for a Perfect Paella Cookoff to celebrate National Spain Day. More details will be confirmed
closer to the date.
Date: 09 October 2020
Time: 17:00 to 22:00
Cost: R170 per person (Incl VAT) to book your spot, which will include all entertainment,

the Cookoff Celebration, live music and Spanish Flamenca dancers.

Dinner and drinks will be over and above this.

GO IT ALONE
What does Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine offer?

We do anything food related for a minimum of 15 guests and up to 200 – or more. Numbers for the school venue
have to be restricted, but other options are possible.

Jackie Cameron requests a budget to work from and you’ll be advised what the school can provide.

Functions at the school range from private, wine-cellar dinners; special occasion get-togethers; corporate cooking
classes (one course can be a cooking challenge whereby you compete against your team-mates to see who is the
MasterChef. The rest of the menu / meal can be a relaxed affair where we spoil you); conferences; to weddings and
wakes. Outside functions includes exclusive wedding catering; drop-off anniversary or birthday celebration platters
and weekly corporate food platters designed to suit your budget.

We really do it all.

Remember fine dining comes with a variety of presentations - we do “fine” food.

SUNDOWNER WITH A DIFFERENCE
Every month starting from March we will showcase different wine estates.

The students will pair bite-size tastings for the various cultivars being presented, and we’ll ask you to comment

on the snacks and how well they pair with the respective wines.

This will be a relaxed, informal get together of people who enjoy fine fare – and for those who would like to gain
appreciation for this sociable activity.

So, on the way home from work, stop off for a sundowner of a food-and-wine tasting with a difference.

JOIN US FOR COFFEE


Coffee Time with the Students.
Each coffee-time will include different items that the students have made with their own unique touch. These
will have a theme to their practical assessment. So, as they learn you taste.

The occasion kicks off with a glass of Klein Zalze bubbles and includes a Terbodore coffee.

To join Chef Jackie and her students booking is essential.

25 July -- Cakes, biscuits and sponge cakes.
15 August – Bread, sour dough and Brioche.
05 September - Croissants, Pies and Quiches;
03 October - Hot desserts and puddings.

HIGH TEA
To round off the year our #2020 students will be holding an afternoon High Tea at 241 Old Howick Road,
Hilton. This will be the results of their final pastry practical.
Dates: 7th November and 8th November 2020, these dates may change.
Time: 15:00
Cost: R220.00 per person (Incl VAT)

Please note, Terms and Conditions:

• Weber Friday Demonstration will be confirmed as soon as proof of payment has been received and 15 guests have
confirmed.
• A week’s notice is required for cancellations or for the changing of the number of delegates or students for
events.
• No-shows or late cancellations will be charged the full rate.
• Date changes of confirmed bookings will be accommodated if possible, however no refunds will be considered.
• We accommodate a minimum of 15 and a maximum number is determined by the event. No refunds will be
made for a decrease in numbers 10 days before the event; we are able to accommodate an increase in numbers up to
2 days before the event.
• We are able to accommodate different starting times depending on bookings.
• Remember to disclose your dietary requirements with your booking.
• Student gratuities are not included in any of the rates.

• Please note that there is a swimming pool and two ponds on the property, the onus is on the parents at all times to
look after their children.
