General Objectives 1. Align the new GEC Readings in Philippine History to the HEIs vision and mission of
the faculty participants;
2. Design class activities that enable the faculty participants to create activities for
learners that enable them a deeper understanding and appreciation of Philippine
history and its relevance to the present time; and
3. Create an institutional syllabus with an outcomes-based design.
