The Safety & Health Council of NH is a membership organization consisting
of firms, associations, agencies and individuals with a common interest in injury

The Council was organized in 1971 and is a not-for-profit, nongovernmental,
accredited chapter of the National Safety Council. The Council works in areas of
safety and health, and provides regulatory compliance courses and informational

Occupational Safety & Health Programs


Extensive training programs help a company meet challenging health and
safety requirements. The programs are taught by experts in their fields, and
provide valuable information about OSHA and other government regulations.
The Safety & Health Council sponsors a certificate program in Occupational
Safety, in which participants attend ten core courses and fifteen hours of elective
courses within 24 consecutive months. You will also earn Continuing Education
credits, a recognized measure of educational accomplishment.
We also offer an Advanced Safety & Health Studies Certificate for more
experienced Safety & Health Professionals.

Defensive Driving Course (DDC)


“DDC” is a standardized crash prevention training program for improved
driving performance. The classroom program, taught by specially trained
instructors, helps the driver better understand the rules of the road and
techniques to avoid crashes. Group discussions, teacher aids, student
workbooks, and up-to-date videos make for a meaningful course, no matter
how experienced a driver may be. Successful completion of this course may
