IV. PROCEDURES
A. Springboard/Motivation (Establishing a Activity 1: ( 10 Minutes Pre-Test)

❖ Before learners start studying this topic, let them take the
following test to check if they know the different parts of
the desktop computer.
B. Activity (Review of previous lesson/s or Activity 2: (Show Me-Identify Me)

❖ Show learner’s pictures of different types of computer.
❖ Let learner’s identify if they know what are those types of
computer.
❖ Check learner’s answers.

C. Analysis (Presenting examples/instances Activity 3: ( )

❖ Show a video presentation to the learners about the how kids
react to the old version of computer.
❖ Learners will give attention to the video being flash on the screen
to be able to comprehend questions related to the video.

Ask:

● What is the video all about?


● What type of computer shown in the video?
● What are some reactions of the kids’ base on the video?
● How can you turn on the computer?
● Does the computer easy to manipulate or not?
● Why?
● What can you tell about this type of computer?
D. Discussing new concepts and practicing Presenting the Lesson

❖ Discuss the lesson using the multimedia presentation about the

mainframe computer.
❖ Discuss how each computer works and applied to our daily lives.

❖ Randomly group the learners by counting 1-4.


❖ Post the house rules in-group activity on the board before
each group will do the activity.
❖ Give each pair a cartolina and a pen.
❖ Each group will answer the webbing activity by writing down
what are the four types of computer.
❖ They will write down the different functions of each
computer, how it applied great help in our daily lives.
❖ The groups must choose a reporter who will talked their
answers in front of the class.

Activity 6. Think-Share-Pair

❖ Learners will choose their own pair.


❖ Give each pair a cartolina and a pen.
❖ Each pair will write their answers on the cartolina on the following
questions.
❖ Each pair will come in front and discuss their answers to their
classmates.
❖ Let learners respect and respond appropriately to the learners own
idea and feelings in discussing their answers.

Ask:
● How computer gives important role in our daily lives now a day?
● Give two examples on where can we find computer plays a big
role in our lives and why?
● Which is better a life with a computer or a life without computer
and why?
