PROFESSIONAL SNAPSHOT

As Engineer Piping 5 years experience in Project Management, Site Supervision & Coordination for
Oil and Gas , EPC Work, consulting & Engineering . Currently designated as SITE ENGINEER (Piping)
at BHAWAN ENGINEERING in CARBON DELAYED COKER UNIT PROJECT, Abu Dhabi. Proficient in
handling execution of engineering projects including erection of pipes, interfacing with approving
authorities and coordinating with engineering Possess in depth understanding of all material required
for piping.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE & EXPOSURE:

Project Management
 Supervision of project activities and handling the complete cycle of the project management entailing
requirement estimation and final execution of projects.
 Monitoring the execution of various projects entailing material requirement, punch list preparation
and documentation.
 Involved in Kick off meeting presentation preparation at the start of the project and preparation of
daily progress report, organizing and conducting weekly progress meetings with the clients and
consultants as well.
 Coordination with the QA/QC department in the early and easy submission of packages and with the
design department for solving design discrepancies.

Site Supervision & Coordination

 Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs and methodologies of
construction & coordination with Site Management.
 Involved in NDT, PWHT request and co–ordination and appointing sub-vendors & sub-contractors for
various activities & evaluating their performance.
 Co-ordination among consultants, contractors and clients as well as with Fabrication, Erection and
Execution department for follow up for drawing approval.
 Creating Isometric Drawing according to the site conditions with the help of PLAN DRAWINGS and As-
Built Preparation according to the site condition and handling documentation on Hydro Test Package
preparation and co- ordination.
 Preparing maintenance plans/schedules for reducing machinery downtime to minimum for ensuring
smooth production as carrying out condition monitoring

 Leading & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in operations and
achieving the group targets.
 Identify & implement strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spiritual cooperation
between team members.
 Sustaining the existing Manpower with technical programs according to their skill and knowledge and
making organization charts – Hierarchy charts.

Professional Skills
 Supervise all mechanical piping construction activities to ensure all the works are carried out as per
project specification and schedule.
 Installation of piping system, pressure parts and steel structures by Plan, Isometric drawings and
P&ID’s.
 Checking of ISO drawings, release for Pre-fabrication of AG spool (C.S, SS, LTCS) based on the property
and material availability.
 Involved in loops preparation, Mechanical clearance, pneumatic testing and final box up of
Equipments & piping system.
 Carried out Installation of fire fighting equipments like fire hydrants, Sprinkler system, deluge system
& fire water pumps and related piping system.
 Closely follow the Test-Packs &Preparing punch list of piping system and ensuring clearing those
points in consultation with client engineers.
 Involved in Pre-commissioning activities.
 Liaise and rapport with clients and consultant engineers on engineering issues.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
1. From May 2006- March 2011, worked as a Piping Engineer, in UNITED CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
Ernakulum, one of the leading contracting company in Kerala, Under taking sub contract for Mechanical,
pipe line, Heavy Engineering fabrication, Erection, Construction, Maintenance & Shut down Maintenance

2. From March 2011-April 2013, worked as a Piping/Welding Engineer in NASSER Al-HAJRI

Corporation, KSA, at SAMCO ACRYLIC ACID PROJECT in JUBAIL EPC activities with consortium consisting
German Linde & Korean Samsung

3.From April 2013-Jan 2014 worked as a Site Engineer in L&T construction at 125MWe Concentrated
solar power project , Pokhran in Rajasthan, AREVA Solar was controlling EPC activities in this RELIANCE
project

4. From Feb 2014-Till date working as site engineer in carbon delayed Coker unit project for BHAWAN
ENGINEERING .Where Korean Samsung is controlling EPC activities in this TAKREER Project

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Planning for the Erection of pipes, Assigning work to all Foreman’s, Arranging all materials for piping
activities Mechanical Clearing the Punch, Carried out Hydro Test, Blowing & Flushing Test, Coordinating
the PWHT & NDT group. Coordinating with QC department for package clearance. As Material In-charge,
arranging all the piping materials and supports, for all site activities and coordinating with all supervisors
and clients for any material problem. As Planning Engineer prepared invoice for Piping Supports and
submit to client for approval, and finally calculating the overall summary of weight, welding area and paint
consumed for support etc…
