were  about  19,195  cubic  meters  of  garbage  being  generated  every  day  by  about  9.45  million
Filipinos  living  in  Metro  Manila.    Below  is  the  result  of  that  survey.

Answer  the  following  from  the  given  data  in  Table  1.    Show  details  of  your  solution.

1. Construct  frequency  distribution  tables  with  four  class  intervals  using  the  data  on:

a. Population
b. Wastes  generated  in  tons  per  day
c. Wastes  generated  in  cubic  meters  per  day

Discuss  your  outputs.  [25  points]

2. Compute  for  the  mean,  median,  mode,  range,  variance  and  standard  deviation  using  the
data  on:

a. Population
b. Wastes  generated  in  tons  per  day
c. Wastes  generated  in  cubic  meters  per  day

Explain  your  results  by  relating  the  computed  measures  of  central  variability  with  the
measures  of  variability.  [25  points]

3. Use  an  appropriate  graphical  or  visual  presentation  tool  to  describe  the  data.    Discuss
your  output.  [25  points]

4. Given  your  knowledge  of  the  measures  of  central  tendency  (mean,  median,  mode),  how
will  you  describe  the  distribution  of  the  data  on:

a. Population
b. Wastes  generated  in  tons  per  day
c. Wastes  generated  in  cubic  meters  per  day

Briefly  discuss  your  answer.  [25  points]
