KEYS TO CHANGE
Shaking is going on everywhere in the world right now.
Sometimes it is horrible to watch the news and see the acts
of violence, floods, fires, earthquakes, hurricanes and more
that are happening all around us.

I want to give you some understanding of what God is saying

about why the world seems to be going crazy.

People ask me, “Is this judgment?”

I heard God specifically that His judgment is not coming on

the world right now. Rather, these are the birth pangs of the
coming revival. This is a time like never before—and we need
God like never before.

In Isaiah 59:19, God promises that, “When the enemy comes in

like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against
him” (NKJV).

God has given me four keys that I believe are “a standard” He

wants to raise against the enemy in this season.

 The Power of Agreement

 The Power of Perfect Love
 The Power of Your Words
 The Power of Forgiveness

These keys will open the heavens over your life and shift the
spiritual atmosphere of your surroundings. As we begin to
arise together and put these keys to work, we will change the
world for good.

3
God has given me a times and seasons prophetic gift, or an
“Issachar anointing”—like the sons of Issachar in the Old
Testament. Now, I am not literally a son of Issachar, but I do
have an ability to release Daily Prophetic Words, as well as
timely weekly and monthly prophetic insights.

Sometimes, it has been frustrating for me as a prophetic

writer because prophecy can be like manna: if you are not
careful, it could go away in a day. But more recently, God has
given me the ability to administrate or pastor these
prophetic words and bring them out at the right time to
remind people of what is happening.
These four keys God gave me truly have the power to change
your life—and change the world. But only if we put them into
action!

Let’s start with the Power of Agreement.

THE POWER OF AGREEMENT

God is about to release something new on the Earth and in
your life, and Satan does not want you to see it. The sudden
surge of negativity that has been sown over the last few
years is beginning to build up and reap chaos in the weather
and other things happening right now. This is the biblical
principle of “a man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7).

If a lot of people pray or talk (sow) about giving and blessing,

then we will receive (reap) the blessings of revival. If the
majority of people pray or speak (sow) complaining and
grumbling, then we will start to receive (reap) a whirlwind or
a closed heaven. This is what God told me is happening
right now.

4
This is a key point to take note of: This is the plan of the
enemy, not the plan of God. The enemy wants to get people
complaining and grumbling so that he can release more
negativity on the Earth. If he can do this, then he will get us
sidetracked from seeing what God is getting ready to release
on the Earth.

People ask me, “How could a loving God allow tragedies, like
the shootings and violence happening everywhere, to
happen? How could a loving God allow that?” My studies
have shown that God is definitely loving—He is love—so
what we are seeing right now could not possibly be from God.
Because He loves us, He never forces His love on anyone.
That would not be free will; that would make Him a dictator.

But when people choose to not receive God’s love, they open
themselves up to evil (the opposite of God’s love). Because of
that, acts of violence and other terrible things begin to
increase. It is so important to catch this.

The plan of the enemy is to get your eyes off of what God is
doing and onto negative things. There is a negative,
revengeful spirit that has been released. It started to creep
into our culture a while back. One example is through reality
TV shows which say things like: “You’re fired. You’re voted out.
You’re off the island. America doesn’t like you.”

It is so important to catch this because there are spiritual

principles at work here.

Jesus said, ‟… if two of you agree on earth concerning anything

that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven”
(Matthew 18:19 NKJV).

5
Now, this is important: “Where two agree together.” We think
of that as agreeing in prayer, but it is also a spiritual principle
that whatever we come into agreement with can also be
released on Earth. There is power in agreement. It is also
important to see that this power of agreement works
negatively as well as positively.

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of the

Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in
what you say and that there will be no divisions among
you, but that you will be perfectly united in mind and
thought. 1 Corinthians 1:10

You might want to underline that, or make a copy and put it

on your fridge. Start to study this. We are in a place right now
where we are out of agreement and are bringing division.

In Luke 11:17, Jesus said: “… a house divided against itself will

fall.” We need to be very careful about what we agree with
out of our own mouths: over ourselves, our families, our
businesses, our homes, our ministries, our churches and our
governments.

THE POWER OF PERFECT LOVE

One of the greatest spiritual principles Jesus taught us is in
the following passage:

Jesus said, ‟‛Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the
first and the greatest commandment. And the second is
like it: ‛Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and
the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22:37–40

6
Wow! Love God, love other people and love yourself. It
sounds very simple, but somehow these have dropped out of
our vocabulary and seem to have dropped out of many
people’s Bibles. We say it, but we forget that we need to act
on these things. Many people have replaced love with
another spirit, called fear, and we need to realize fear is a
demon!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and
of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out all fear,
because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not
been made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18 NKJV

This is important to understand, because God’s love

overcomes the enemy’s fear. When we have perfect (mature)
love, we come into agreement with what God has.

By doing this, we are agreeing for things to be ‟on earth as it

is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). But, if we get into fear, then we
are coming into agreement with what the enemy has and
allowing fear (the opposite of love) to be an open door into
our lives.

It is interesting that John says perfect love will cast out fear,
and fear is a spirit that involves torment: “…he who fears has
not been made perfect in love.”

Christians and non-Christians alike are being tormented by

fear. It is running wild among churches, in the media and the
news—everywhere right now. Remember, what you sow you
shall reap and where two agree together it will be done. But go
back to the greatest commandment—which is to love.

7
I have gotten healed of so many things in my life—even in
my body and my health: Lyme disease, multiple chemical
sensitivity, many other things that had been running over me
for a long time. The key to my healing was 1 John 4:18. I got
into perfect love and my healing came.

I began to receive God’s love for me over things that

happened in my life early on, where I had gotten upset or
angry at God. I did not want to admit it, but I was
disappointed. And hope deferred can make your heart sick
(Proverbs 13:12), which will make your body sick.

So, I began to accept that love for myself, and as I did God
began to heal my body. We need to love God, ourselves and
other people. If we have unforgiveness against God, against
ourselves or other people, we can actually get out of balance
and become sick in bodies.

I found that those things brought my immune system down

and were the reasons why I started having an acute level of
chemical sensitivity. I was sick for four years.

I had a radical breakthrough with 1 John 4:18. I actually did

an online a workshop, called Accelerating Your Time to Heal,
where I go into more detail about this strategy. You may
want to check it out.

I talk about these things in more detail and walk you through
how you can get a strategy for healing. Medically, we can
show that our immune systems and bodies are spiritually
connected—even with depression.

8
Uncover More Strategies to Receive
Your Healing with …
Accelerating Your Time to Heal:
Tools for Physical, Spiritual, and
Emotional Wholeness

This happened to me at one time in my life. You might be

physically depressed and something in your body is throwing
off your serotonin. But there is freedom. I was able to get off
antidepressants and all the other medications. (Note: I do not
recommend going off your medications without your doctor’s
approval and until you see the evidence of your healing.)

I was able to heal when I learned this key and I got into
perfect love. I began to cast out fear, and within a short
period of time my entire body shifted and my immune
system kicked back on. Do not give up and accept that
something in your body is not working. It does not mean that
you have to be in your current condition forever. Many
afflictions have a spiritual root, and God can heal you.

A DEEPER LOOK AT PERFECT LOVE

I want to share a little deeper about this revelation of perfect
love. People ask me how I am able to hear God clearly. Back in
2004, I was traveling all over the world doing outreaches using
prophetic gifts, doing dream and tattoo interpretation as a
means of sharing God’s love. I was one of the forerunners in
prophetic evangelism, speaking God’s prophetic words of
encouragement and destiny. I was out there all the time,
traveling 150 days a year, and I had the grace of God to do it.

9
Then around 2008, we hit a wall. That was when the economy
dropped and it was a tough time. I had to press in even
deeper. This is when my ability to hear God skyrocketed.

Because I was traveling a lot, I was on airplanes all the time. I

always seemed to get really bad seats next to crying babies
or somebody throwing up (nothing against them). It was
definitely like being in “row number 66, seat number 6,” if
you know what I mean? On top of that, I was having trouble
financially. Here I was, a prophetic believer and a minister of
the gospel of Jesus, but because I did not understand these
things, I was getting a lot of warfare.

I was blaming it all on the devil, but one day God said, ‟Oh,
no. You need to understand something here. These things
are happening because of things that are coming out of your
mouth. If you would stop complaining and start blessing, you
would see your life turn around.”

The Holy Spirit began showing me some Bible verses, and I

saw something I never noticed before:

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For the same
way that you judge others, you will be judged, and with
the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Matthew 7:1–2

Because of negativity, fear and the lack of love, we can

actually end up in a place of judgment. Sometimes, people
do not fully understand what it means to be in judgment or
to be judgmental. A while ago, I released one of my life
messages: Love, Not Judge. This message can turn your life
around once you really understand it. But many people were
not seeing this truth because they did not understand or had

10
a different definition of what it means to be in judgment or
to judge.

God said to me, “If you would stop judging or complaining,

and would start blessing instead …” because what you sow
you shall reap. He said my condition of going into debt and
sickness was because I was complaining and judging others
instead of blessing. So, to turn it around, I had to start loving
(blessing) and stop judging (complaining).

This was a big revelation for me at the time, and I had a

breakthrough in my understanding. I agreed and told God
that I would try it out. So, I went on a negativity fast. Every
time I wanted to file a complaint, I would include three or
four compliments. This is very important because what you
sow you will reap.

I was living under a closed heaven at that time, but when I

stopped complaining and started blessing, everything
opened up. Within a very short time, good things started to
flow into my life again.

When we start focusing on negativity, we start prophesying

negative things from our mouths without realizing it. Paul
taught to “bless and do not curse” (Romans 12:14). This
includes yourself as well as other people. The atmosphere
around us is affected with the spiritual principles I have
shared so far. To recap:

 If you agree together, it will be done for you—whether

it is positive or negative.
 What you sow you shall reap.
 Love has power over fear.

11
These are very powerful truths. There is another important
principle that I want to share with you. I have already
touched on it a little, but I want to unpack it some more: the
power of our words.

THE POWER OF OUR WORDS

Recently, God said to me that an “angry wind” had been
released on the Earth because too many people were
complaining and judging rather than blessing and lifting up.

They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. Hosea 8:7

If you look up the Hebrew word for wind, it is ruwach, which

can be translated as wind, breath and anger. Those who
speak (with their breath) angry or complaining words can
receive or create a whirlwind (or angry wind).

A lot of people are sowing anger, judgment and complaining

“into the wind” with their words. Remember—what you sow
you shall reap. This serves as a reminder that we need to
watch what we say, and be careful to speak words of blessing
and not words of complaining or judging.

I know this because I had to live it out in 2004. After I made

the changes the Holy Spirit encouraged me to make, I began
to hear God and live under what I would call an open heaven.
An open heaven is where the blessings come easily, where
God brings things to you, you can hear Him clearly and know
exactly what to do next.

This is not always automatic. Sometimes we have to practice

this as a lifestyle by going on a negative-thought-and-talk fast.
When I started doing this, I began to see the positive effects

12
of it every day in my life. Now that I have this revelation, my
wife and I, along with the InLight Connection team, all
practice living negative-free lifestyles.

A general atmosphere of judgment (complaining or criticism)

has crept into the culture today. The focus is more about
what is wrong with a person or situation as opposed to what
God has given them.

Without us realizing it, the enemy has crept in and sown

weeds (judgment, anger and complaining) into the Kingdom
of God. Jesus talks about this in a parable about a field
(Matthew 13:24–39), and how the enemy came in and sowed
weeds while the workers were sleeping (not paying attention).

This is going on right now. The enemy is sowing his negative

seeds into our lives, and weeds are growing up along with
the good things God is doing. We cannot just rip them up,
because we will damage people (verses 29, 38).

These are spiritual principles, and we need to be very careful.

One of the names of Satan in Revelation 12:10 is “the accuser
of the brethren.”

Accusations can be dangerous. If we are not careful, we can

come into agreement with darkness, or Satan, over ourselves
and over other people. It is important to understand the
power of your words and how they can affect the spiritual
atmosphere around you and others.

THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

I started a little experiment outside of the Church back in
2002 when I was into apologetics. I would study the Bible to

13
know how to refute people who had disagreements with the
truth, which was a popular evangelism style in the 70s and
80s. Out of the millions of people we encountered—through
thousands of prophetic outreaches and interpreting over
25,000 dreams—I asked my teams, “What is the one thing
people in the streets were asking about as we encountered
them?”

We discovered that things have changed. People do not need

to be convinced that God exists these days. They say, “I am
spiritual, not religious.” The number one question they asked
was, “Why are God’s people so judgmental towards others?”

This radically changed my life. In fact, I went from apologetics

to apologizing. Now I have developed a lifestyle outreach
strategy that involves finding people’s wounds and helping
them heal.

Now, I apologize often and ask forgiveness because if we can

bring down that negativity, it is going to really change things.
This is in response to what God told me about complaining
too much. Our outreach style flipped around, and it was
radical what happened after that.

Then, several years ago, I tried it inside of the Church. I took

this simple message out on the road and tested it in
conferences and churches everywhere.

During the training workshops and just before lunch, I would

go through a number of Bible verses about the effects of
judgment. (I don’t have time to go into them in this short e-
book, but you can find them in my How to Love Not Judge
message.)

14
Find out what the Bible says about the
effects of judgment …
Download the How to Love Not
Judge MP3 audio

After I read the verses, the presence of God came in so thick.

In fact, it was so powerful that when we dismissed the
meeting no one wanted to leave—even to go to lunch!
Everyone just stayed in their seats in silence.

Then I walked them through repentance for judging people

that we have disagreed with or complained about, even to
the smallest degree. The heavens would open, and we would
see all kinds of miracles happen. These are the spiritual
principles the Lord showed me.

We encountered so many people who were depressed,

suicidal, hopeless—both inside and outside of the Church.
After giving thousands of prophetic words and interacting
with people everywhere, I have seen that some of the best
people, who have the greatest callings, are experiencing
some of the greatest opposition.

I noticed that Satan will work overtime on people in the area

of their strength. If they have a calling to bring hope to
others, they struggle with feeling hopeless. If they have a
calling to bring life, they often feel suicidal. If they have a
calling to bring financial blessing, they tend to be in debt.

This happened in my own life. I was not suddenly born a

prophet, and everything does not always go smoothly for me.

15
A long time ago, I was a meth addict and was involved in the
occult. I had to battle through things to get to where I am
today. We need to be very careful that we do not step away
from God’s love for people and push them deeper into
darkness by arguing against what they are doing or what they
believe. This is important to understand because this attitude
is closing the heavens over us.

HOW YOU CAN OPEN THE HEAVENS

I can walk you through opening the heavens right now. Go on
a negative-thought-and-talk fast, like I did, and begin to bless
people. For example, if you are driving down the road and
someone cuts you off, and you are thinking about saying or
doing something negative, pray for that person instead. Or, if
you have bad service at a restaurant or a hotel, don’t just file
a complaint—make sure to find a way to bless someone as
well. Maybe leave a good tip. It is important to always offset
complaints or negative comments with compliments and
positive feedback.

I was sitting in the front row at a church, getting ready to

receive an offering. I was going to use Luke 6:38, which is a
common verse used during offerings:

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed

down, shaken together and running over, will be poured
into your lap. For with the measure that you use, it will be
measured to you.”

It is a powerful verse and can relate to money, but like most

spiritual principles in the Bible, it can be applied multiple
ways. If you read Luke 6:38 in context, you’ll see that this

16
verse is about far more than money. In Luke 6:37, Jesus is
talking about judgment:

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not

condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and
you will be forgiven.”

Like a lot of people, I was giving as much and as often as I

could. I did not realize that I needed to get rid of the
judgments I held against other people. So instead of
blessings, I was getting a lot of judgments in return—it often
felt as if they were “a good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, and running over.”

Now that I have learned this and repented, some of the most
powerful offerings or ministry times I have ever done were
when we would go through a time of repentance for
judgments before receiving the offering. The presence of
God would come, and I would talk about giving love, giving
money, and doing good things for others. Once you clear
your heart, you clear the spiritual atmosphere over yourself.
Then all of God’s principles and all of His goodness will flow
to you!

Jesus goes on to say:

“Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s

eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?”
Luke 6:41 NASB

Judging others can cause “spiritual log jams” in our lives that
rob us of our financial blessings, as well as many other
blessings. When we try to get just a speck [of sawdust] out of
someone else’s eye (try to change the way they see), we often

17
do not realize we have a log in our own eye. Judging others
causes our vision to grow dim and our destiny to go cloudy,
and is causing the closed heaven that we are experiencing
right now in the world. We are not seeing revival, and people
are often angry at Christians and God because of the spirit of
judgement.

OUR WORDS MATTER

There is great power and authority in our words, so we have
to be very careful about what we say and what we come into
agreement with. Our words matter.

Jesus tells another parable about a fig tree and moving a

mountain. It is so easy to miss this. It is powerful.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found

nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, ‟May you
never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.

When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. ‟How did
the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.

Jesus replied, ‟Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not
doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree,
but also you can say to this mountain, ‛Go, throw yourself
into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will
receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” Matthew 21:19–22

Jesus says you can speak to things and they can wither or
you can speak to the mountain and it will move. He is doing a
comparison here: Be careful with your words, because you
can either release withering words which lead to death, or
you can release words of faith which can move mountains.

18
Most people miss this because they focus on the part of the
verse that talks about faith and not on the part that talks
about doubting. In doing so, they miss the powerful reality
Jesus was actually teaching here about withering words.

Jesus said that our words can uproot things and get rid of
obstacles. But He said, ‟May you never bear fruit again” to that
fig tree as an example of what can happen when we speak
negatively to people or to ourselves. Maybe something
negative was spoken over your life that caused something to
wither like the fig tree. Or maybe you have even spoken
negative, withering words about yourself.

Understanding this truth is so powerful. We need to be very

careful that we are not speaking withering words. When we
do speak, we need to say fruitful words and share fruitful
thoughts. Doing this will help us turn negativity around into a
blessing. We can bear fruit that will last.

People ask me, ‟Why are we seeing so many tragedies?” I

have unpacked it all for you in this e-book. Read through this
over and over again to get it into your spirit. Share it with
some friends because what you sow is what you reap, and if
you agree together it will be done.

God told me to release a campaign on the internet: “Stop

complaining, start praying. Stop complaining, start blessing.”
I want to encourage you to go on a negative-thought-and-talk
fast. Just step away from negativity. There are times when it
is very difficult, like when things are challenging at work or
you are stuck in traffic. Sometimes you will just have to “zip
it.” I like to say, “zip it and flip it.” Flip the negative to
something positive and watch what begins to happen in your
life.

19
You can speak and release words of life, creativity and
blessing. This is how I was healed from being very sick and
losing a lot of weight. When I started blessing myself and
those around me, I gained back twenty pounds that I had
lost during my affliction. I realize some of you don’t want to
gain weight, but it can apply to your needs. This will turn
your life around, and it is not all that difficult to do.

I want to encourage you to really get this into your spirit.

Look at the areas where you, or maybe someone else, may
have spoken negatively and caused your gifts or your talents
to wither. Carefully consider how you speak to other people.

Bless and do not curse. ‟Bless those who persecute you; bless
and do not curse,” as the apostle Paul says in Romans 12:14.

PRAYER
I want to pray with you now to help activate this word over
you and release it into your spirit.

Lord, we activate this word in us. I pray for the withering

words that have been spoken to us or by us to fall away. I
pray instead, Lord, that they would be words of life, words
of fruitfulness—that we would now be able to get rid of
the judgements in our lives.

And as we do that, as these judgments go, we can say to

this mountain, “Be lifted up and thrown into the sea” and
it will. We can say to the mountain of debt, “Go.” We can
say to the mountain of depression, “Go.” We can say to
the mountains in front of us, whatever they might be, “Go,
in the name of Jesus.”

20
Because once we clear judgments, once we clear out the
things that we are agreeing with that are not of the Lord,
everything is going to change for you. I believe it is going
to happen—in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I am so excited that we can change the spiritual atmosphere.

I have done it over my ministry and over churches, and I
have helped many people see this powerful spiritual truth.
We need to change the spiritual atmosphere like never
before over our nations and over the world.

It is easy to do. Just stop judging and complaining—and start

loving and blessing!
