DAILY LESSON PLANS

1. With the objective of gathering feedback that will provide valuable information in the
enhancement of the Detailed/Daily Lesson Plans in all learning areas from Kinder to Grade
10, the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) is conducting a regional
survey on the utilization of the contextualized daily lesson plans through a monitoring tool
enclosed in this Memorandum,
2. The regional monitoring tool has three components: a. Accessibility/Efficiency; b.
Quality and Relevance; and c. Effectiveness. Each area requires accurate data and honest
responses from the end users to yield relevant results. The target respondents are the
Kindergarten and learning area Education Program Supervisors/Coordinators who shall
consolidate the information gathered from the field. Information on the number of respondents
required per learning area/grade level shall be disseminated in a separate issuance.
3. Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) headed by the chiefs in all School Divisions
Offices (SDOs) should organize a team to facilitate the survey on the utilization of DLPs in
schools. The SDOs should contextualize the regional monitoring tool by considering inputs
from the teachers and school principals. It is advised that an orientation with the CID team be
conducted for guidance and clear directions.
4. Itis reiterated that the Regional Office shall only accept the SDO consolidated
reports per learning area. The SDO learning area EPS/coordinators shall submit their
reports to their CLMD counterparts on or before February 24, 2020. The deadline of
‘submission of reports should be observed.
5. _ Cooperation and support from the SDOs and schools are enjoined to realize the
objectives of the DLP development.
6. _ Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.

Monitoring Tool in the Utilization of the Contextualized
Daily Lesson Plans
Description: This tool is to be used by the CLMD in monitoring the utilization of the Daily
Lesson Plans. It intends to capture information along accessibility, quality, relevance and
effectiveness of the DLPs. The key informants for the completion of this tool are the CID
supervisors.
