Story

Peter picked up his heavy backpack and set off towards the forest.

It was dark outside and the pressure in the air was heavy. He was alone, so he kept looking behind every
now and then to make sure nobody was following him. An hour of walking later, he got to the end of the
forest. Nothing was moving. Only his eyes were surprised by the beautiful view from the top of the
mountain. The wonderful gorge in front of him looked almost enchanted. Peter was inspired to put his
tent there, because the sky was clear and the wind wasn`t blowing. Also from that point, he was able to
see the lake, which was glistening (care strălucea) into the moon light. He managed to set the tent and
he pulled out his favourite book, determined to finish it. Suddenly, while he was reading in his tent, he
heard twigs breaking nearby. Being scared, Peter went out of the tent only ten minutes later. The only
weapon against the supposed monster was a lantern. Slowly, carefully, he unzipped the tent …The only
thing he could see was a bird, a white bird. What scared Peter was a huge dark shadow behind the bird.
Unfortunately, he freaked out and slipped from the edge of the mountain. He rolled downhill to the lake
at the bottom of the hill. Twigs scrapped his arms and at some point he hit his head. He eventually
stopped rolling and fell into the cold water of the lake.

At that moment he understood that there had been a misunderstanding. He never got scared so easily.
But his attention was distracted in an instant because he saw a waterfall. It was so quiet and beautiful.
The pressure of the water was low and that allowed him to get closer. In a minute he noticed a cave is
beyond the wall of water. Fearless and blinded by curiosity he went into the darkness.

Two months later, nobody had heard anything about him. The only thing people found was his tent and a
broken lantern.
