1. Hitler's 25 points present an interesting mix of capitalist and socialist economic
policies along with hypernationalism and authoritarian political structure.
a. Which points reflect which political tendencies?
b. How might this mixed package have been useful in uniting the German
nation?
c. Are there contradictions in his idea of the German/Aryan superiority and his
paternalism towards the masses more clearly articulated in Mein Kampf?

2. What political tactics does Hitler rely on most in his 25 Points and Mein Kampf? What
contemporary parallels can you make between his political tactics and politics (across the
political spectrum) today?

3. In what ways does Fascism articulated in Hitler's texts and Mussolini’s What is
Fascism differ as a political ideology from Marxism and Liberalism? How do they differ
in terms of citizenship, the role of the state, and the relationship between citizen and
state? Use specific examples from the text.
