“MY SUCCESSFUL STORY”

Having a positive mindset, good attitude and being a motivated person

are the keys in helping you to make yourself successful in the future. Good
day, I’m Wilmor A. Diones. One of the sons of Erlinda Diones and Ricolito
Diones. My mother is from Bauang, La Union and my father is from
Sorsogon. We are currently staying here at Panlayaan since my mother gave
birth to my elder sister. I was seven years old when I started to study in
grade one at Panlayaan Elementary School. Since then I just keep on
chasing my dreams by studying hard until I graduated in grade six last
2011. Last 2011 we didn’t expect that something happened to our father.
This is the worst thing happened to us because our father died at the
mountain but I know that God will not leave us alone and now we accepted
the things happened that time and just keep on moving forward until we
survived the struggles that we encountered that day.

When I started to study in High School my determination in pursuing

my dreams grow bigger. It helps me a lot in taking my second step in
reaching my own goals. But I know that being in high school would not be
easier as elementary. I am so afraid that time but I just keep on thinking
positive things and told myself that I will do my best whatever it takes until I
succeed. It was 2015 when I graduated in 4th year high school and I cannot
believe that I became an honor student that time.

After I graduated in high school, I decided not to enroll in college and I

started to help my mother and brother by helping them in making broom
because it is the only way for us to make money until year 2016 came I
decided to enrolled in Grade 11 and take Electrical Installation and
Maintenance. I just can’t believe that time because at the end of the year I
am included to the students who are with honors. Until I graduated in Grade
12 and included in top 23 which makes me very happy because all the
efforts that my parents and I exerted where worth it.

And now I am already 20 years old and I am currently a 1st year

college incoming 2nd year student at Sorsogon State College (Main Campus)
taking up Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTED) and
as a future educator I just keep on chasing and pursuing my dreams until I
became successful person someday.
