assignment.

You must create a story in which you will narrate a


significant and memorable event that marked your life
in a positive way.

You are required to create a story in which you will narrate a significant and
memorable event that marked your life in a positive way.

Suggested examples:

 First day of school


 Your first job
 Getting your driver’s license
 Graduating from high school
 Graduating from college
 Passing an Admission Exam
 Getting a big promotion
 Falling in love
 Getting married
 Buying a house
 Having a baby

This activity will be done in 2 phases:


1. To elaborate a script
2. To narrate the story

Instructions:

A- Prepare a 5-6-minute script in a word document that must contain:

1. Modals and similar expressions to express:


Ability and
Advice
2. Adjectives:
 Comparisons with as…as
 Comparisons with than
 Superlatives
3. Adverbs:
 Comparisons with as…as
 Comparisons with than
 Superlatives

B- Do not forget to give your script a title and a description of all the
relevant details that make that event relevant in your life. Include dates,
places, people and all the details you consider are necessary to make
your story interesting for the audience.

C- Use chronological order and correct tenses. Check out grammar,


structure, spelling and punctuation. Read the rubric that is included in
this file.

D- Submit your document with the name story Script-Last names + Given
Names to the Campus platform.

E- Use the script you wrote to generate an audio file that you will upload
into Module IV in Campus. (MP3 format is A MUST and background soft
instrumental music is optional).

Save your file with the name: Oral assignment-last name + given
names then upload it into the Campus platform (Module IV).

You will upload two files: 1. The script in a word document


2. The recording
