Travel and Accommodation Allowance:
To & fro travel allowance for irst all selected participants (main authors) for maximum up-to 3 Tier AC Train travel, for
the shortest route shall be provided. The participants who are willing to travel by air shall be reimbursed the fair for the
shortest route for that particular journey of 3 Tier AC Train travel. All the documentation (travel receipts/forms etc) are
to be submitted as required in due time for the same. Accommodation from evening of 09th April to 13th April 2020 can
be provided without any charges. Accommodation shall be provided on sharing basis only.

About Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics, Pune:

Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics, Pune is one of the oldest research and training institutes in economics in
India. It was founded in June 1930 with an endowment offered by the late Rao Bahadur R.R.Kale to the Servants of India
Society which was founded by the late Shri Gopal Krishna Gokhale.
The Institute was initially af iliated to the University of Bombay, conducting the M.A. Programme in economics and
supervising the work of students working towards research degrees of that University. In 1949, with the establishment
of the University of Poona, the Institute became a constituent recognized institute of the new University. Till 1993 the
Institute functioned, for all academic purposes, as the Department of Economics of this University. With the decision of
the University to establish as separate Department of Economics at its campus, the Institute as a Centre of Advanced
Study in economics was granted effective autonomy in 1986 in designing courses, teaching and examination of the M.A.
Degree in economics. The Government of India, on their commendation by the University Grants Commission, has
awarded a Deemed to be University status to the Institute in 1993.

is one of the oldest and largest bodies of professional econometricians and quantitative economists formed in
the year 1960 with more than 2000 members from all over India and abroad. TIES organizes annual conference
where experts from all over India and abroad participate and deliberate on various issues.

About 'Centre for Emerging Economies at MM's IMERT':

The center is envisioned as a liberating space with no disciplinary boundaries for the conduct of research,
projects, academic experiments, interactions, events and publications. It is dedicated to conduct empirical
interdisciplinary studies in the allied domains of economics concerning to the contemporary issues. Focusing on
India and its intricacies that are diverse from the rest of world, the center strives to instill a broader perspective
to its students through a host of research activities.

Introduction:
ICFAE 2020 envisions to provide a liberating space for the interdisciplinary studies without asserting any
divisive boundaries. It is imperative that there would be different thought that gather and share their work &
ideas to have more broader perspective to the contemporary challenges & issues.

Objective:
The primary objective of the conference is to create a diasporas of thinkers in inance and economic affairs. And,
also to provide an opportunity to the budding researchers to present and publish their work.

Call for Papers:

The 'International Conference on Finance and Applied Economics 2020' will be held on 10 – 12 April 2020 at
Marathwada Mitra Mandal's, Institute of Management Education Research & Training, Pune. The theme of the
conference is theoretical and empirical analysis on the areas of inance and applied economics. The conference
would deliberate on following broad themes, containing both conceptual & empirical work about recent and
emerging developments. The areas mentioned below are only suggestive in nature, however the participants
are welcome to send their research work across the topics.

Publication:
We will publish all the abstract of papers shortlisted for presentation in a conference proceeding bearing an
ISBN. In addition, authors are encouraged to submit their papers for publication in 'ArthaVijnana' the journal of
the GIPE, Pune. Selected papers shall be published in ABDC/Scopus journals. We are also planning to publish
selected papers as an edited book with Springer Nature Singapore. Also select papers shall be published top
ABDC Indexed Journals.

Guidelines for Submission:

The full papers should be formatted in the APA Style. The full paper should be written in less than 6000
words, including tables, exhibits, references and appendices.
The manuscript should begin with a separate title page containing: The Paper Title, Author(s)' af iliation
and email ID, Abstract (Max 300 words), and Five Keywords with corresponding to JEL codes. The rest of
the manuscript should not contain any author identi ication in formation.
