The latter brand name gives you much more scope for the future.
3. Ensure that your brand name passes the “phone test”
Example: Smart Solutions is much easier than Ingenious Solutions
● Make sure it is easy to spell, pronounce, and remember
● Phone your friends or family and test it
4. Make sure that your brand name is available
● Go to the USPTO trademark database
● Use the Basic Word Mark Search to check it has not been trademarked
5. Make sure that your brand name domain is available
● Go to www.namecheap.com and enter your brand name without any
spaces or punctuation
● Make sure the .com domain is available
If it passes all the tests, congratulations, you have your brand name!
