This refers to the request for clearance to use the name of the
___________________ as part of the corporate name of the Philippine
Association of _________________.

In your Memorandum dated November 9, 2018, you stated that

_____ is a newly created association of regional and division librarians
applying for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) but was
required by the latter to seek for a clearance from this Office to use the
name of_______ in the banner name of the association.

Although PADLI used the term “banner name”, it is apparent they

mean “corporate name” as their concern is their registration with SEC.

This Office interposes no objection to the same, as _______

recognizes the constitutional right of its employees to form their own
associations,1 nevertheless, please be apprised of _______ issuances
