Networks have been competing for the peoples interest giving us a diversity of shows and

teleserye, that aims to not only entertain us but to also give information. There are countless of

T.V networks but ABS-CBN and GMA had ruled the television

The two network had been competing for ratings giving and presenting their best ideas,

containing the shows that have survived the test of time, teleserye that had mark the filipino

teleserye and famous artist that had embodied filipino cinema

PURPOSE

This study aims to know what is the preferred T.V network among the two network ABS-

CBN and GMA and also they can umderstand the reasons behind their choice among the two

network.

IMPOTANCE OF THE STUDY

The importance of the study s to get information such as news whichs leads the

community to be more productive and knowledgable and have awareness and also it gives

entertainment to those person to all viewers.

LITERATURE
 Both network have claimed to have dominated the rating in the year 2017. They

presented data proving their statement from different sources with different findings.

In a statement, ABS-CBN said it ended the year 2017 with an average audiences shares

46% or 12 point higher than GMA’s 34%, citing data provided by multinational audience

measurement provider Kantar Media. Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban

and rural homes, which it says represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing.

Meanwhile, GMA, in a separate statement, said it recorded and average of 42.5% total

day people audience share in the Urban Television Audience Measurement(NUTAM), against
